Yes, I just heard this on the news it is very close to where I live in the Toronto area. I am trying to think of who is missing from here.

Will post if I hear anything.

I just cannot understand why so many children are missing or are being abused and murdered in this country. Is it violent video games, violent movies, too much TV, too much time on our hands when previous generations didn't have so much time, gang violence - I could go on and on. What's happening to America?

When I read the article, I immediately thought of Tamra Keepness, the missing five year old Saskatchewan girl. Although it is not impossible that it is her, it is not all that likely either.

I hope that Tamra is safely found and that there is justice for this poor child that was just found in the SUV.

Mother questioned after cleaner finds remains in plastic bags

Police have questioned the mother of an infant whose decomposed remains were discovered yesterday inside an SUV in Brampton.

The mother was located at her workplace late yesterday afternoon, about six hours after an employee cleaning vehicles at an auto reseller's compound discovered the baby's body wrapped in plastic bags, Peel police said in a news release last night.

An autopsy will take place today. Police said they had interviewed the mother and were exploring whether there may have been complications during the pregnancy or delivery of the child.

Officers went to the fenced compound at Adesa Toronto, on Auction Lane near Goreway Dr. and Highway 7, mid-morning after receiving a call that the body had been found.

Afterward, Constable Wendy Sims said there were no apparent signs of foul play.

"This child has been deceased for a period of time," she said. "That will be determined at a post-mortem."

Police said last night they were not looking for anyone besides the mother in the case. They said they would not release any information for now on the mother's identity, the circumstances surrounding the infant's death or the significance of the vehicle.
