Smilies/Pictures Question

I was looking for a spot on the forum where you can ask technical/web questions but couldn't find it, so I guess this is better than nowhere.

In the posts, I'm only able to see smilies and pics (I guess avatars?) as a link.
For example, there is a moderator that has a pic of her child/relative and instead of a pic I see a link that takes me to the picture..same thing in most other people's posts. Also, some smilies will only show up as the .gif file link that they were uploaded as. That one is hard to give an example of but I guess for instance a smilie might show up as www.smileycentral.swimming.gif (http://www.smileycentral.swimming.gif/) or something like that. (didn't mean for that to show up as an actual link)

Is there a way for me to change that? Something I need to change or set in my profile in order to actually see the smilies and pics?

User CP, Edit Options....scroll down, there is a place to show smilies, avatars etc. make sure they are checked and then hit submit or save.

Now I can see that there are actual dogs in your posts and not a link to somewhere else to see them. :blushing: :D
