A search party will gather Saturday to look for a Hanover Twp. man who has been missing for two weeks.

William Francis DiSilvestro, 28, of McWhorter Drive, was reported missing Feb. 11 by his mother, Debbie Estes. Investigators have determined he was last seen in the 200 block of Ross Avenue in Hamilton.

Debbie said Billy's grandmother dropped him off at a friends apartment the night of February 7th. For some reason, Billy left the apartment, leaving his cell phone. He hasn't been seen since.

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - More than 100 people met at a Hamilton park on Saturday afternoon to search for a missing Hamilton man. Billy Disilvestro, 28, has been missing since February 7, 2011.

HAMILTON — For weeks Debbie Estes has been knocking on doors and passing out flyers in attempts to find her missing 28-year-old son.

On Saturday she received some much needed backing from friends and family.

More than 100 people gathered in a park at Park Avenue and D Street to search for Billy DiSilvestro, who was reported missing Feb. 11.

I wish we had more information about these friends his grandma dropped him off with. I hate to say it, but I wonder if something happened to him at that residence- he could have had a seizure- but if there was illegal activity in the home, or some panicked young people, they could be hiding something or covering something.

Seems it was out of character for him to just wander off between 3 and 6 AM. Especially without taking his cell phone with him.

His mother/grandmother say he was last seen wearing a red jacket, but his friends claim he left in the middle of the night wearing a gray jacket with fur trim. If Grandma dropped him off at the friends' house with a red jacket on, but he wasn't wearing it when he left the friends' house...

... Where is it?

I drive through downtown Hamilton every day on my way to work, posters of Billy are posted on everything thing that does not move, but sadly other than the info already given in this post, we know nothing. There are so many questions that nobody seems to be answering.

his mom said he didn't have a girlfriend and that he didn't use drugs

says he wasn't depressed.. except maybe a little bit from not being able to find a job d/t his seizures

he was on dilantin and got "redneck" and crazy if he drank alcohol while taking his meds

mom's bf's brother was last person to see him and mom doesn't know if he has taken a poly... the bf's brother has been in trouble

le has his cell phone (it was left at the bf's brother's house)

waited three days before filed mp report.. last person he called was his grandma...

says he would not be wandering around 6 weeks.. he was very clean and even polished his tennis shoes white

says he talked to him on the computer

says phone rang at 0230 for grandma... but machine picked up.. banging and loud talking.. grandma erased it because she thought it was the tv... she thought he would call back but he didn't

bf's brother said that billie came there and they were looking at youtube on the computer and he was drinking.. billie wasn't... they talked.. played cards... bf bro had been drinking all day and he passed out... woke up and his door was locked and he was covered up and billie's cell phone was there

update on investigation:

they are at a standstill.. they have checked out all leads... there are people still saying they see him around the area.. but mom has been out walking the streets/talking to people on the streets and think that there are some people that he may look like...

mom also heard in the neighborhood that he may have got in a fight that night ... not sure if LE checked that out.

Hopes fading for missing local man

It was bitter cold in February the last time William DiSilvestro’s family saw him. As the days warmed, leads trickled in about his whereabouts, keeping sheriff’s detectives busy and the family hopeful.

But a season later, Butler County Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Craft is realistic about the chances of finding “Billy D” alive and well.

“Because of the time that has passed, I do fear the worst,” he said, adding detectives have combed rural areas, including the banks of the Great Miami River, and have even conducted polygraph tests on persons of interest, but nothing has led to DiSilvestro.

Amazing - I am fairly local and this is first I have heard of his case. I just watched some youtubes of his mom - OMG she breaks my heart. THAT MY FRIENDS IS HOW A MOM ACTS.
I too am glad if TES is really going to help this mom.

You can bet I will be looking for him everywhere I go. Him, Paige and now Katelyn.

Divers were in the canal off Joe Nuxhall Boulevard Wednesday searching for the remains of a Hamilton man who has been missing for more than a year.

Butler County sheriff’s detectives and members of Task Force One, a combined law enforcement dive unit from area counties, spent several hours attempting to locate any sign of Billy DiSilvestro, who went missing on the night of Feb. 7, 2011. They found nothing.

Billy Disilvestro, 28, has been missing since Feb. 7, 2011. On that day, his grandmother dropped him off at a friend's house in Hamilton, Ohio. At about 2:30 a.m., DiSilvestro placed two calls -- one to his mother and one to his grandmother. Both calls went unanswered. What happened to DiSilvestro after that remains a mystery.

According to police, the friend said DiSilvestro left the house after attempting to contact his mother and grandmother -- presumably for a ride. It is believed he was headed to his grandmother's house about two miles away, which would take him through a forested area called Milikin Woods.

Authorities have conducted several searches of the area, but have yet to find any sign of the missing man.

DiSilvestro is described as a white male, 6-foot-2-inches tall, 180 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a gray winter coat with fur around the hood. DiSilvestro has several tattoos, including the word SMOKE across his back, Jesus carrying a cross on his upper right arm and a large angel on his upper left arm.

Anyone with information regarding this case should contact the Butler County Sheriff's Office at 513-785-1300.

I was glad to see this thread at the top again. Debbie is the epitome of what a mother of a missing child does. Even when they are an adult. His facebook page stays active and so does she. Every day I hope she finds answers. Every. Single. Day.

I also hope she knows how many people are out here supporting her.
