Mr. Cooke, I know that you are in close contact with Sabrina's father. Do you have any updates to her case? The last I heard was she was found in Mexico, but her father was unable to get to her before her mother disappeared with her again.
If I remember correctly, it was a lack of cooperation with Mexican authorities that hindered Sabrina's father from getting to her in time. Is this correct? It made me so sad to think about this, because a similar thing happened to my little cousin. Her mother took off to Mexico with her, and it took years for her father, my cousin, to get her back. I believe that she was seven before he was able to get her through the help of a private team of investigators. It was the most amazing thing to meet this little girl for the first time, and I wish the same for Sabrina's family.

The FBI told Greg everything was under control and Sabrina and Dara were being watched by the Mexican Police. This was not true and Dara took Sabrina and left. They have gone underground again. Hopefully Dara will make a mistake or Sabrina will have a chance to tell someone like seh did last time.
I haven't talked to Greg for three weeks due to our busy schedules. Hopefully we will have lunch soon.
As with Rachel's case, Greg does not post leads on the Internet. I will also only post public information about Sabrina.

Fathers search for missing girls
10/27/2003 9:33 AM
By: Allie Rasmus
Greg Allen's daughter Sabrina was taken by her non-custodial mother. Nearly 800,000 children are reported missing in the United States every year. Some are abducted by family members; others by strangers.
Robert Cooke and Greg Allen are united by such tragic circumstances.
"We both have a daughter that's missing that we love very much," Cooke said.
Rachel Cooke was kidnapped while jogging and Sabrina Allen was abducted by her non-custodial mother. Even though the circumstances are different these fathers share a common pain.
"I called him up one day just to say, 'You don't know me but unfortunately we have some things in common,'" Allen said.

Greg Allen and I ate lunch together on Tuesday. There is a new promising lead on Sabrina. I can't give any details, but if it's true it confirms Sabrina is still alive.
Wednesday night there was a 2-year remembrance of Sabrina's abduction.

Sabrina missing for 2 years

Through prayer and support Wednesday the community offered their strength to a father in need.
It's been two years since 6-year-old Sabrina Allen disappeared after a weekend visit with her mother.
Greg Allen was granted full custody of Sabrina and he's been searching for her for two years.
Allen's mission to find his daughter has taken him on an international search to Mexico.
He said his only link has been a teacher there who sent him letter about Sabrina's condition.

I keep thinking about Sabrina and frequently check her website for updates. This is probably not related but I thought I would throw this out there to see what you all think.
According to the website, Dara uses several different names including Adriana.
I went onto myspace.com and clicked on browse. I then did a search for the following:
Women
between ages: 36-36
located within country: Mexico
Height between: 5'2"-5'6"
Children: Proud Parent
This pulls up 7 profiles. One of the profiles caught my eye. There is no picture but the name on the profile is Adriana and her location is Mexico City.

Like I said, this is probably nothing but it may not hurt to look into it.

If the FBI still think that Sabrina and her mother are in Mexico I wonder why the FBI isn't working with the Border Patrol instead with the Mexican police who are known for being so corrupt.
When my daughter's killer was in Mexico the FBI and the Border Patrol worked together to capture him. When they were told where to find him they grabbed him but didn't arrest him in Mexico because of all of the red tape, etc. What they did was kick him out of Mexico because he wasn't there legally. The FBI put him on a plane and of course they flew with him to Los Angeles. When they arrived in Los Angeles our detectives were waiting at the airport to arrest him for 1st degree murder and then they flew with him back here to Washington state.
I don't know why it couldn't work the same for Sabrina and her mother. I would bet the mother isn't in Mexico legally. Maybe her dad should talk to the FBI about working with the Border Patrol instead of the corrupt police. Everything went so smoothly in getting my daughter's killer..her ex-husband...out of Mexico. I was really impressed. The FBI should be right in the middle of this case as the mother doesn't have legal custody of this little girl.

No, I've never posted the whole story. I just talk about it off and on whenever it seems fitting. I don't know if anyone would be interested in reading the whole thing.
My heart goes out to everyone who has lost a child too whether it is a small child or an older one. I wish that this never had to happen to any more parents. I know that I will never get over the loss of my daughter, Shelley, but in all honesty, I don't know if I could survive the loss of a little one that had been kidnapped, raped and murdered. I also don't know how people keep going when they have a child of any age missing. I think my imagination would be my undoing. It is all just so awful. I do know that every family of a murdered or missing child needs tons of support and prayer. It helps more than anyone could ever know. Sometimes I think that is all that keeps most of us going.
Thank you for asking about my daughter and for caring.

Is there anything new to report on this little sweetie? She looks so happy in all of the pictures with her father!
I saw where Mr. Cooke had said there was a promising new lead but he couldn't give details, did that lead anywhere?
wow.. such a sweetie. you can tell she's such a friendly, social girl.. & obviously she loves animals also... and i am amazed at how much she's experienced for such a young age... all those adventures!!
i can't imagine the trauma she must have experienced being ripped away from not only her dad, but loving grandparents, relatives, friends, etc.... and with no explanation (or a false one). how incredibly cruel. and that first photo is so heartbreaking.. you can see the pain and confusion in her face. i have a feeling this woman is going to get tired of hiding at some point.. and she will be found. hopefully soon, so sabrina's family won't lose too many more years of watching her growing up & bonding with her.
lurker.. when you said mr. cooke, did you mean mr. allen?

Sabrina is on Project Jason's current 18 Wheel Angel campaign. A special poster has been made for her and can be downloaded and printed for placement. More information about the program, and the link for the poster can be found here:
http://www.projectjason.org/18wheel.html
In addition to the campaign, Sabrina is also featured in a trucking publication called Through the Gears. This free magazine is distributed in truck stops nationwide.
Through the Gears is one of JB Scott's many publications. In partnership with Project Jason, they feature two missing persons per month. You can pick up your free copies at a local truck stop, but if it's far from you, you may want to call and ask if they carry that magazine. These are NOT with the regular for purchase magazines.
Through the Gears has a circulation of about 150,000.
You can also see the current campaign information on this JB Scott webpage: http://www.truckjobseekers.com/Features/18_Wheel_Angel.aspx
We hope this helps in the search for Sabrina.

So glad to hear that with all of the pain he has endured, he was granted such a beautiful blessing. Sabrina's case is close to my heart (I was a victim of a non-custodial parental abduction). And I always pray for her, but tonight, I will be praying extra hard. Sabrina needs to meet her new siblings, and they need to know their big sister.

There is a video on findsabrina.org that is from America's Most Wanted episode # 695 from November 2nd, 2002. The 2 detectives in the video go to the office of the man that drove Sabrina & Dara across the border. They say his name is Jason but I can't quite understand the last name. It sounds like Gonzales but I am not quite sure. Does anyone know anything about this guy? I can't find a Jason mentioned in anything related to this case.
