Unidentified Native or Hispanic Female

The victim was discovered on February 5, 2006 in La Paz County, Arizona
Estimated Date of Death: 3-6 months prior to discovery (August-November 2005)
Cause of Death: Homicide
Skeletal Remains
Formerly Hot Case # 99

Vital Statistics

Estimated age: 17 - 19 years old
Approximate Height and Weight: 5' +/- 2".
Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair, dark to medium in color and 14 1/2 inches in length.
Clothing: Black denim "lei" pants (possible size 11); possible navy blue fleece
jacket "Sky" brand. Black plastic "Beezel" type watch.
Fingerprints: Not Available
Dentals: Available
DNA: Available in CODIS

Case History
The victim was located by a truck driver at Mile Post 66.9 off I-10 freeway in La Paz County, Arizona on February 5, 2006.
He had pulled over to the side of the road and found the remains inside a plastic trash bag.

There are no rule-outs for this UID in NamUs, but I wonder if Tiffany Reid has ever been ruled-out somewhere else along the line.

She is an inch above the upper height limit, and her face seems a little broader than the drawing.

Her age is right if you presume that she remained alive for a year after she was last seen. Her circumstances suggest runaway, so that is plausible.

Her ethnicity (Native/Hispanic) is right.

She has a connection to Arizona, even though she was missing from New Mexico. Her belongings were found in Sweetwater AZ, about 100 miles from where Jane Doe was found.
