This girl would have been of about the right age and living in the general vicinity of the child murders linked to Oakland County's "Babysitter" serial killer. However, the date is a couple of years past most of those crimes, and her body was never found. Anyone know of any links?

Maybe I am being dumb, but it would seem that someone would notice a child being abducted just crossing a street. Someone had to have seen something.

She wasn't necessarily abducted from across the street. She may have seen someone she knew and trusted, and possibly he offered to let her use his phone and thereby save money, and she went with him quite willingly. Such a thing would not have attracted any attention.

The most danger we face is from our own friends and family, not strangers. If you are going to be murdered, statistically it's going to happen at Christmas Day at the hands of a member your own family. If you don't want to be killed you're better off being a friendless orphan.

On a different note, King is described as having blue eyes yet on the age-progressed photo she has brown eyes. Did someone misinform the artist or is the original description wrong?

She's also listed as having blond hair and her actual photo does not look blond at all.

No, it's not you - the eyes are brown - even look brown in her "real" photo.

Greetings to everyone! I am new to this board and I live right by Warren. If anyone has any ideas, I am willing to do the legwork. I didn't live here when she went missing, so I really don't know about the case. So any help would be great.
