They just said something a minute or two ago on that radio station that has me absolutely reeling in stunned disbelief... unless I heard it wrong (which I don't think I did) I don't believe we have heard just how bad TLM's FULL statement was as to what MR did to Tori.

Usually inmates are sent to Millhaven for a month or so and then on to wherever they are going. In his case I am very sure he will go to Kingston Pen in the special unit with Bernardo and Williams.

Still weeping and grateful for the families and the friends who have had to suffer Tori's loss and then have had to endure this trial.
My heart also goes out to all the women who were 'duped' by Rafferty and who had to testify during the trial. <3

Yes I think that as much as I dont like the fact they threw out the lap top evidence, they made a good point on 1010 FM today when they said if they would have allowed it and he was found guilty, Derstine would have appealed it. The fact that if it did get charged with a lesser charge the crown could have appealed the lap top. So smart move on Heany's decision.

I went out to watch a friend's daughter perform in a play - just got home and the first thing I did was check this thread. What a great relief to know he will not have the opportunity to do this to another child. It will not bring Tori back, and I continue to grieve for her suffering and death, but I am so glad that the jury saw the truth and did the right thing.
