We have the name "Jason" from the note found in his pocket. Assuming the note was for him, is it possible the girls who wrote the note misheard his name? Concerts are very loud.

I'm not from the States, so I'm not sure what a Virginia accent sounds like, but I've thought of a few names that could be misheard as Jason.

Maybe Jason was his middle name, one his friends called him by. Maybe the missing persons report uses his first name.

Grayson or perhaps someone who went by "J.C.".

This could be a shortened form of a name, too. The state park in Jasonport, Arkansas has a terrific campground.

Possibly Jason is merely the name he gave to those girls??

That's very possible. It's also possible that the note was given to him to pass on to someone else.
