that Darlie is back in Dallas for a hearing.

Anyone know what this is about?

Haven't heard anything on this case in a very long time, is this another attempt at obtaining evidence for re-testing or something else?

I've already looked at the Dallas Morning News online and there is nothing that I could find.

They only said one thing "convicted child killer Darlie Routier is back in Dallas for a hearing" that was it.

Just curious.

They did say they were going to appeal the courts most recent decision. The court said they filed some stuff too late to be heard (don't hold me to that EXACTLY, but something like that). They were going to appeal, but they'd be at the federal level. This may be something else????? Maybe she wants crunchy peanut butter and they're only giving her creamy peanut butter!!

Ya'll laugh, but there was honestly a lawsuit by a federal inmate for that very reason!

There was a mention on 'Just Darlie' a few days ago that she had been moved to Dallas for a hearing but that was it.

I'm sure we'll hear all about it when Mama Darlie is on with Jeff Crilley talking about how horrible the judge was to them again. :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo:

Yes!!! Sad, but true!! Any of you ever watch those documentaries shot in prisons in China, Turkey, Brazil or Indonesia? Now THOSE guys have a reason to bitch. Some other prisons don't even provide food or beds for their inmates. I think American inmates are spoiled!

Yeah, they just have to worry about taking care of their OWN horses, swimming in the swimming pool and playing tennis after eating a steak supper. We KNOW HOW TO PUNISH THEM..... Maybe I'll rob a bank, I need a break from my kids. :innocent:

There was one in Tennessee claiming the guards were taking the DR inmates condiments because of the nature of his crime. He strangled a little girl to death who's last words were something to effect "Don't worry, Mister. Jesus loves you." They executed him last year, I think. Wonder if he ever got his condiments. LOL!

I've heard that Israel has the best prisons. Dual citizens get to choose which one they want to do their time in, I think. Most would rather go to Israel.

Yeah, well, they still have to worry about the hot beef injection! hahahahaha! The Crown hasn't figured out how to get rid of that one yet, have they? What do they call Big Bubba in Canada, anyway?

God I hope not!! He doesn't have one bit of integrity!~! She IS news though and I'm sure he'll be doing more on her story at some point. Hopefully it won't be until they set her date though.

No, we are just kidding. Not in Max that's for sure. That's a tough place. As far as I know we only have one Super Max you know for those too tough and too violent to be in Max. Then they have one they call the "perv prison", and the "biker prison" in Quebec--home of the Hell's Angels.

But club med, medium security, they get treated pretty well. And minimum well forget it, they can leave the grounds, without permisssion of course, when the feel like it.

Only if your life is threatened like Paul B. They have to keep him in protective custody and he needs at least five guards that form a diamond pattern around him whenever they move him.

What do they call him--big bubba/grand bubba. LOL, I have no idea what they call him.

I think they do, don't they? At least they used to. Did they just recently outlaw that? Seems like I heard something to that effect. O, well, if they did, the prisons must be hopping now! hahahahahahah!

We had a trustee here go out in a police car (to get it washed, I think) and while he was out, he kidnapped and murdered a young woman. They found her necklace under the driver's seat. Yes, some official heads rolled on that one.

Which prison would that be please? I have been in the "justice" system for sixteen years now and don't know of any prison, federal or provincial, that the convicts can leave without permission.
