Baltimore, MD (CBS) Baltimore County police are asking for the public's help in locating a woman from the White Marsh area.
Tracey Leigh Tetso, 32, has not had any contact with her family or friends since March 6, 2005.
Tetso's husband reported her missing after she was supposed to attend a concert in the Washington, D.C. area.
She never arrived at the concert. Detectives have learned that her car passed through the southbound side of the Harbor Tunnel on March 6th just before 8:00 p.m.
Tracey Tetso is described as a white female, 32 years old, 5'04", and 130 pounds, with long blonde hair, and blue eyes.
She has a tattoo of a bird on her back and another tattoo of a bird on her right leg.
Her car is a 1996 black Pontiac TransAm with dark tinted windows, displaying Maryland tags LRN 534.
If anyone has any information about Tracey Tetso or her vehicle, please call Baltimore County police at 410-307-2020.
With prayers of HOPE for Tracey, Lanie

The husband of a Rosedale woman missing since last week said he realizes it's only natural for people to suspect he had something to do with his wife's disappearance, especially since he knew she was having an affair.
But he does not know what may have happened to her, he said.
"I wish I knew where she was," Dennis Tetso said. "I just want her to come home. I miss her."
Police are asking for the public's help in locating Tracey Leigh Tetso, 32, of the 7800 block of Bluegrass Road.
The woman has not contacted family or friends since March 6.
"They are just doing their jobs," Tetso said of detectives who have questioned him in connection with Tracey's disappearance. "I expect that. I have nothing to hide." County police said there are no suspects in the case.
Both Tracey's husband and her boyfriend, Christian Sinnott, reported her missing to authorities March 7.
Police said detectives have learned that her car, a 1996 black Pontiac Trans Am with dark-tinted windows, passed through the southbound side of the Harbor Tunnel shortly before 8 p.m. March 6. The vehicle, with Maryland tags LRN 534, is also missing.
Police spokesman Bill Toohey said no suspects have been named, and detectives are talking to "everyone she knows."
Tracey Tetso is described as 5 feet 4, 130 pounds, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She has tattoos of a bird on her back and on her right leg.
She was supposed to attend a Motley Crue concert March 6 at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C., police said.
It was a concert Dennis Tetso knew nothing about.
The tickets were a Christmas gift from Sinnott, 31, who had been dating the woman for about four months, Sinnott said.
He is a truck driver for Aggregate Industries in Crofton, where Tracey was a dispatcher.
She had recently transferred to the company's Laurel location, friends said.
Sinnott said Tracey never called him to confirm their meeting plans and never showed up at the concert.
"She was looking forward to it. The day of the concert, I knew something was wrong," he said.
In separate interviews, both men acknowledged knowing about the other and said they were concerned only for Tracey's safety.
"We are all worried about her. We can't find her or the car," said Tetso, 40. "It's not like her to not contact anyone."
Tetso said he received a phone call March 7 from Aggregate saying Tracey never reported to work.
Tetso, who also used to work at Aggregate before getting a job driving trucks for another concrete company, said he last saw his wife March 6.
"I didn't even know she left," he said. "When I came out of the shower, she was gone. That was nothing unusual for her."
His wife often would head out without telling him where she was going, he said.
"She doesn't tell me when she's going to the store, and I just find out when I see her come home with the bags," he said.
Married since September
The couple met six and a half years ago when Tracey was working at a Wawa convenience store in Pasadena, and Dennis would stop by for his morning coffee before getting on the road.
They lived together for five years before Tetso said he "popped the question and put the rock on her finger."
Before 100 friends and family last September at Ferndale Methodist Church in Glen Burnie, they exchanged wedding vows.
From the start, friends and family say they had their doubts about the union.
"Even on her wedding day I asked her, 'Is this what you want?'" said her father, Richard Gardner of Ferndale. "She said, 'I guess so.'"
Alisha Barnes, a friend and co-worker of Tracey's, was a bridesmaid.
"She had love for him, but she was not in love with him," Barnes said. "But she had invested so much time, and by that time she was planning a wedding and had bridesmaids, too.
"She thought maybe it would work out in the end."
By December, Tracey "wanted to call it quits," her father said.
Family and friends said she had contacted a lawyer to begin divorce proceedings.
Dennis Tetso said the problems were nothing out of the ordinary.
"Everybody's relationship ain't perfect," he said. "She wasn't a bad person. She was a good girl. And for the record, I love her with all my heart."
Tetso said he knew that his wife had begun seeing Sinnott but took the news in stride.
"Hey, what are you going to do? Things happen," he said. "We decided to pretty much separate for a bit and see what goes from there."
Tetso said he still resides at their house, along with her two dogs, Tasha and Spike.
"It's just me and the dogs. We sit there in the house waiting for her to come home," he said. "It's all we can do."
Tracey's father said there is no way his daughter would leave what she loved most - her pets and her grandmother, Rose Smith. Smith and her husband, who died two weeks ago, raised the woman.
"We have had some hard times in this family lately," her father said.
Gardner said he appreciated how attentive Tetso would be toward Tracey's grandmother. But his opinion changed when his son-in- law cried about the problems he was having in his marriage at Tracey's grandfather's funeral.
"I said, 'You guys are having problems, you sort your own battles out.'" Gardner said. "I mean, this was at a funeral. To me, he turned from being a nice guy into a weasel."
Tetso was "way too possessive," Gardner said. "She couldn't go anyplace or talk with anybody. It started to scare her."
Gardner, also a truck driver, said he tries to keep his mind focused on his work.
"As long as I am busy, I am fine," he said. "I am hoping she just got mad at the world, and she'll pop back up and I'll yell at her a bit, and everything will be fine."
Anyone with information about Tracey Tetso or her vehicle is asked to call Baltimore County police at 410-307-2020.

talk about setting off the hinky meter...
she having an affair with Sinnott and both he and the husband contacted the police about her missing...
question is, did they check out her computer to see who else she was having an affair with and going to the concert with?
sounds like the hubby and boyfriend are clueless...

I know this seems to happen a lot, but I don't get the part where she and her husband have been a couple for 5+ years and seemed okay, but almost as soon as they marry she wants to break it off. And the husband and boyfriend's casual acceptance of each other seems weird too.

I doubt either guy had anything to do with her disappearance. Maybe she ran off the road somewhere.... If she had "tickets" to the concert, who was going with her?? Was he going by herself? Or was she meeting the boyfriend there and that's how they know she never made it to the concert.
My guess: she went off with another trucker .... she could be anywhere.

Her car was found on a motel parking lot in Anne Arundel county. TV reports say that a camera on the lot filmed the person who drove onto the lot and it was not Tracey.

If she had no children then maybe she met a 3rd "honey" and took off with him...leaving the hubby and boyfriend to fend for themselves.
However, my gut feeling is that foul play is at work here. Two men would be enough.....THREE? Who needs it.....

i've been reading up on this, today....i happened to see an interview w/Tracey's mama, this morning, & thought i would check here...
i'm thinking her husband had something to do with this....i read that she had told friends that her husband had borrowed a truck (white truck) from one of his friends, to "watch" her with, at times.....if in the video, the person that parks Tracey's car, gets into a white truck, then it seems that her husband had a friend follow him to the Days Inn to park her vehicle....it just seems to me that this white truck would be investigated heavily......could they not get a clear image of the plate number or what????....
i'm wondering if LE has asked Dennis Tetso to take a polygraph, you know, as a "tool" in the investigation....if they have, i assume he refused???....very strange that he's had nothing to do, whatsoever, w/any of the searches....from everything i've read from the link that Marylandmissing posted, he has to be the prime suspect.....Tracey's mama said this morning that he's not been formally "labeled" a suspect, but she said she thinks LE thinks he is.....apparently they don't have any kind of evidence in her car, & since he's her husband, it only makes sense that his DNA would be in it already....& no body....
i'm hoping for a break in this case...the sooner the better.....
oh, another thing....did Tracey's boyfriend go ahead & go to the concert that night???....i don't think he did anything to her, but i am curious....

Dennis Tetso had said at one time that he would take the polygraph - Dennis quickly retained an attorney and has refused to take the lie detector test. Dennis Tetso has not/will not cooperate with the detectives in the case and will not return phone calls to the detectives or reporters. When AMW aired in may, there was footage of Dennis Tetso putting on the crocodile tears - that was file footage, Dennis never returned phone calls to AMW either. Tracey's boyfriend did go to the concert - thinking that Tracey would catch up to him there, but that never happened and he's stated that he regretted going to the concert b/c of Tracey coming up "missing". Tracey's boyfriend has taken the lie detector test and calls detectives on a regular basis to check in on their progress (you know, the things her husband should be doing). As to earlier opinions in this forum - Tracey did not run off with yet a third man, Tracey had absolutely nothing to run from. Tracey Gardner (Tetso) owned her own home, had steady employment which she'd had for quite some time and worked very hard to earn everything she owned the house, and two vehicles. Dennis Tetso is now living in Tracey's home - why would someone think that this woman who never walked away from difficulty in her entire life would pick up and leave everything she cared deeply for to leave it all to a "man" that she was going to divorce??? No, Dennis Tetso has not been formally named a suspect in Tracey's disappearance - is the general thought that Dennis Tetso is the reason Tracey is missing YES.

Welcome to the forum! I have been following this case for quite some time.
I appreciate your post. I believe -- just from speculation and what I've read from the beginning -- that Dennis is the reason Tracey is missing.
It's becoming more and more often that women go missing at the hands of the man with whom she was involved/married... And it's ticking me off that men just do this and some get away with it
Prayers for Tracey :(

Thank you! August 6th will be five (very long) months that Tracey's been "missing". I don't like the word missing much b/c it's so much more than that - she's only missing to us b/c we don't know where she is, but I believe the "man" she married knows something. I just found the boards (I'm sure I've been told about them, but I post on about 4 right now as it is - and it's hard to remember how many sites there are out there w/Tracey on it). If there's anyone out there that still believes that Tracey left on her own accord - please take the time to check out the archived and recent articles on www.northeastbooster.com (http://www.northeastbooster.com) Dennis did an interview (one of only a scant few) with Mary T Robbins this was before Tracey's car was located. In this article, Dennis goes on to say that he misses Tracey and is waiting for her to come home, then in the next breath says "she wasn't a bad person, she was a good girl"...What does that tell you? If you're waiting for her to come back, why would you speak of her in the past tense like you know that there's no way she could come back? We've posted (repeatedly) missing person flyers in Tracey's neighborhood...somehow they continue to disappear at least the ones that are on a direct path from Tracey's house out of the neighborhood always disappear (HMMMM, who would do that?). We'll continue to wallpaper the neighborhood, etc with Tracey's flyer we're not giving up. We're also working on fundraisers for Tracey's reward/recovery fund one is with Krispy Kreme, others will follow - we've had two so far the one @ Fuddruckers (which as far as I know we still haven't seen the check and that was in May) and candle sales that brought in more than the Fuddruckers one. If anyone's interested in any of this or just helping with Tracey's cause and you're local, please email me and let me know!

Crazeehorse, Welcome to Websleuths. Thank you for the insights on Tracey. That helps so much in our trying to figure out what she is like and is much more accurate than the hints/tidbits we can get from the media. I think you and your friends are great! Keeping Tracey's face out in the neighborhood and in the media is the best thing you can do. Having someone to regularly keep in contact with LE is also important. As long as you are keeping her face out there, there is less chance that her case will go cold, without resolution. Keep up the good work.
FMFDataEntry- great job on the Website! I think that a website is an invaluable tool in keeping Tracey's story out there. It is not only an easily accessible place to store all of the info about Tracey's story- it is a great way to get Tracey's story out to people. Unless/until TV media comes up with a 24 hr station for the missing/unidentified- websites which show the pictures and tell the story are the best way I know to keep the story in the public eye. You guys are doing a great job.
If I could humbly make a suggestion (LOL, I just can't seem to let things alone). Add an update section to the site, so that you can keep it current with what is happening in her case. And make sure you post links to all the news articles on her story.

At FindMonica we have people that just need webspace and want to host the site theirselves, and we have people that not only need space, a site but would also like us to host their site for them. Tracey's family I believe will be handling this website as soon as the construction is finished, just in case they may have overlooked some things I think an update section and a news link would be a great idea!! I know we try to put those on all the sites we host. If the family wants to host it theirselves, unless they need help from us at any time, arfter its set up and designed it is turned over to them always free of charge, but you can voice your opinion ANYTIME you like, because believe it or not we do listen. I pray and hope for Tracey and her family everyday. And thanks to Donny for designing some of the best websites I have ever seen or worked for:)

There isn't anything new at all - Tracey is still missing and it seems we're at a standstill. Family/friends are now planning something to mark the one year anniversary of Tracey's disappearance, not sure what we'll be doing - we're working on ideas right now. Motley Crue will be coming to Baltimore for a concert on February 15th at 1st mariner arena and Nikki Sixx (according to Motley's management) will be available for interviews at that time. Hopefully we'll get another airing on AMW while the boys are in town. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers - you can keep up to date on Tracey's official website at www.findtraceygardner.com (http://www.findtraceygardner.com).
Thank you all...

It is pretty obvious that the husband is responsible for Tracey's disappearance. He says that it didn't bother him that Tracey had a boyfriend and tries to come off nonchalant but there isn't a husband around that wouldn't be furious. He no doubt didn't want a divorce as he would not only loose Tracey but his home as well as the house belonged to her.
Did LE ever go into the house and do a search or spray it with luminal? If not, they can still do that because blood shows up even if it has been cleaned up.
I wonder if they did a search of his vehicle? I hope that they have checked him up one side and down the other. I really think he is guilty. I am suspicious of anyone that refuses to take a polygraph. I believe if a husband is innocent he will do anything asked so that LE can devote their time looking for the real killer. I hope this guy doesn't get away with this.

Tracey's husband has done nothing to help - he hasn't participated in searches and didn't respond when AMW called offering to try and help find his wife. It's hard to say what the police did - supposedly they did luminol on the house and Tracey's car was checked as well as her explorer - both were supposedly wiped clean. The husband is living in Tracey's house, has allowed for her explorer to be repo'd (thank God her parents outbid the other guy at the auction and now have it .. the people at the auction would not let them buy it outright & said they had to bid like everyone else, even after Tracey's parents told them the situation). To top it all off - there were only one known set of keys to Tracey's car and instead of the police breaking the windows when they found the car Tracey's husband brought the keys to them (makes sense why the person dumping her car turned the alarm on, doesn't it). It's sickening - and here we are ten + months later. We're working on trying to put something together for the 1 year anniversary of Tracey' s disappearance, any suggestions would be appreciated.

They're talking about passing/posting the flyers again - I'll keep the board posted on when this will take place. For the past couple of months the family has focused on Tracey's grandmother who had major surgery and has not completely recovered (she's back in the hospital as of today) and Tracey's parents are burned out. I'll check into when everyone plans to get back out there with the flyers & I will post as soon as I know where the vigil will be and what we'll be doing for the 1 yr anniversary.

Tracey's vehicle was found elsewhere after she disappeared....there was only one set of keys to that vehicle and the husband brought them to LE so they didn't have to break a window when taking the vehicle? Do LE think that they each had a set of keys?
When you talk about Tracey's parents having to bid for her vehicle I think back to Scott Peterson selling Lacy's vehicle and the owner of that lot taking the vehicle over and giving it to Lacy's mom and Ron for a dollar...I believe. Such a difference in people huh? I'm glad that her parents got the vehicle but it's a shame that they had to bid for it.
I hope that Tracey is found and that her husband is charged. I wonder if LE sprayed luminal in the house as well. We all know though that if a person is strangled or sufficated there is no blood. It makes it hard for LE to find any evidence.
They must suspect the husband...I would think anyway. I hope he trips up somehow.

The police supposedly checked the house, not sure about luminol. There were only one set of keys that were known of - even the previous owner only had one set & the dealer did not have any record of another set being made (apparently they have to be ordered through the dealership). We're hoping he slips as well - but he hasn't so far that we know of and it's been near 11 months. We're still working on the vigil for the 1 yr and we'll post when everything is finalized.

Is LE aware that there was only one set of keys to the vehicle? They could check that out for themselves to verify. Of course the husband could always say that they had a second set made. That might be easy to check out too but only if you have to order the key from the dealership. I know with my truck I can go to any hardware store and have a second key made. It doesn't look like the original but it works.
I'm surprised that this man hasn't felt the need to brag to someone about what he did. Does he have any really close friends that he would feel wouldn't tell on him? So often these guys just have to tell someone...brag a little about beating the cops...smarter then them, etc.

I find it hard to believe that he hasn't either confided in someone or slipped implicating himself (he slipped in an early interview by speaking of Tracey in the past tense before her car was even found). I think we're dealing with a sociopath - one that has gotten away with this for as long as he has by pure luck alone (definitely not intelligence). There are some that don't believe he's capable (denial) of such a thing - he's apparently very good at hiding his ugliness. We haven't had a search in a while (Sept) - but will probably be back out there as soon as we can all get together and pinpoint an area of interest. We have bits and pieces to go on, but it should be enough to target a specific area as we've done in the past. We're determined to see him :behindbar .... LE is aware of the keys .. they know what the deal is, it's just a matter of getting the evidence that they need to make a solid case one that will hold up in court - don't want the case to fall apart b/c he can only be tried once.

In case anyone's interested - tentative date for Tracey's 1 year vigil is set for March 5, 2006 (she went missing March 6 - but thought more people could show on the 5th b/c it's a sunday). We are planning to meet around 7PM in the home depot parking lot on ordinance road in glen burnie (not far from where the car was found). Please see Tracey's official site for details - this is not yet definite, but definite plans will be announced on Tracey's message boards @ www.findtraceygardner.com (http://www.findtraceygardner.com) .

Tracey Gardner (Tetso) vigil to be held at 5PM on March 5, 2006 in the parking lot of the Home Depot in Glen Burnie, Maryland off of Ordinance road. Tracey disappeared on March 6 of last year, however the family felt that more people would be able to make it to the vigil on March 5 b/c it's a Sunday. Everyone who can show is encouraged to come - if you have a missing loved one, don't hesitate to come and bring a flyer or picture (whatever you have) of that person. This is to mark the 1 year of Tracey's disappearance, but having family members of missing people come with pictures of their missing loved ones may open the eyes of others around us and make them aware of how serious this problem really is...

Here's a link to a front page story in the Sun on the 1 yr. anniversary of Tracy's disappearance.
http://www.baltimoresun.com/features/bal-te.to.missing19mar19,0,3568974.story?page=1&coll=bal-features-headlines
"A year later, after a nationally publicized search, the disappearance of Tracey Leigh Tetso remains a mystery. The case has haunted those who loved her and has torn apart the relationship between Tracey's parents and her husband, Dennis Tetso. They no longer speak to each other, and last month her parents filed in court a petition to gain custody of her house and car."
It's a pretty comprehensive article. I did not know that the time between Tracy's car going through the tunnel and parking in the lot was only 13 minutes. Something could not have happened to her in those 13 minutes. This makes it pretty certain that either Tracy drove the car there and walked off to start a new life - which doesn't sound likely - or someone else was driving the car that night. I guess a third possibility could be that Tracy was meeting her boyfriend on the lot.
From the behavior of the husband, he has my vote. If it is true that there was only 1 set of keys to the car and the husband brought the keys to the police when the car was found, I don't understand why the police didn't haul him in right then and get a search warrant for the house. A few weeks went by before the police did search the house, plenty of time for him to get rid of evidence. I don't think the police have ever released the video tape from the parking lot that shows her car coming in. I wonder if they were able to enhance it to get a better ID of the person driving.
The house is in Tracy's name alone and he won't let her family come in to the house. And he isn't cooperating fully with investigators. I hope the investigators have something they are working on.

We got word on Friday that the Montel Williams show would like to help in the search for Tracey. You know Montel is from the Baltimore area. I will post with a show date if this comes through. There was a new lead called in this week. They are looking into this, hoping for good results and the loser:doh: that did this to her will go to jail or :bang: himself. TRACEY GARDNER-TETSO
Motley Crue never had a bigger fan than Tracey Gardner-Tetso. She couldn't wait to use her birthday gift last year: a ticket to the heavy metal band's Washington, D.C. show.
But, reported co-anchor Julie Chen on The Early Show, Tracey never showed up on the night of the concert, 16 months ago, Tracey didn't show up. The 32-year-old Baltimore native simply vanished.
Her five-month-old marriage was in trouble. She had filed for divorce two months before she disappeared, and was going to the concert with another man.
Tracey's husband told police she left home that day and headed to the show.
After that, observes Chen, the trail runs cold.

I think her husband killed her and left her car in that motel parking lot to make it look like she took off with someone else.

I may be wrong but I know that Tracy had a male friend that she had known for years and that they were really close...but not close like that. Maybe they were going together. That is just my idea though.
I don't have a doubt that her husband killed her. He says he comes home and there is her wedding rings and cell phone (?) laying on the counter! Well of course they were because he put them there after he killed her. He probably wants to hock her rings! Hopfully LE will get him soon and put him where he belongs. I have to say that he really has a ton of guts to be living in her home when he wasn't living there when she went missing. I hope to heck she haunts his days and nights.

Sounds strikingly similar to Stan Tribble's account of what happened at his home with his wife, Tracy. Sounds strikingly similar to many husbands' accounts of what happened to their wives, in fact. When are men going to realize that they're not going to get away with it so why not go for the divorce instead of murder? :waitasec:

I'll never understand it. I don't see how murder is "cheaper" than divorce when you end up on death row...
It's been two years.
Two years since Cathy and Richard Gardner have seen their daughter. Twenty-four months since Monika Barilla has seen her friend and co-worker.
Tomorrow, the family and friends of Tracey Leigh Tetso will commemorate the second anniversary of her disappearance with a vigil in Pasadena.
Ms. Tetso, 34, was reported missing March 7, 2005 after she failed to show up at a Motley Crue concert in Washington, D.C., the night before, Baltimore County police said.
Her mother, Mrs. Gardner, said the family suspects foul play in her daughter's disappearance.
"We all know that there's foul play involved," she said.

??? No one has been arrested in connection to this case .. much less, the police have not named a suspect in connection with Tracey's disappearance. For more info you can keep up to date on Tracey's official website www.findtraceygardner.com (http://www.findtraceygardner.com) Tracey's estranged husband Dennis Tetso still resides in Tracey's house located at 7800 Bluegrass Road in Rosedale, Maryland.
They are questions Cathy Gardner has asked herself constantly since her stepdaughter disappeared two years ago: Could she be one of the 57 bodies yet to be identified in the state of Maryland? Is it possible she is one of thousands of unidentified bodies in morgues throughout the country?
Next week, the family of Tracey Gardner will finally get a chance to see if their DNA matches that of a Jane Doe currently logged into the National Crime Information Center's DNA database. And dozens of other families will have the same opportunity.
The Maryland Task Force For The Missing and Unidentified, Adults & Children will collect family reference samples at the Maryland Inn in Annapolis Tuesday morning. Law enforcement officials from throughout the state will collect saliva swabs from relatives of missing persons - which will then be uploaded into the database.
The database will search automatically until a match is made, according to task force representatives. That means continuous investigation as more unidentified bodies are logged into the database every day.
Ms. Gardner's father, Richard, will submit his DNA at the event. It will be the first time a sample has been collected from the family since she went missing on March 6, 2005.

"Tetso, who also used to work at Aggregate before getting a job driving trucks for another concrete company, said he last saw his wife March 6.
"I didn't even know she left," he said. "When I came out of the shower, she was gone. That was nothing unusual for her.""
So, was the husband living with Tracey when she went missing or not? If not, why would he be taking a shower at her house? And if he claims that she left, in her car, and then he shows up with the only set of keys . . .??? Why haven't the police arrested him based just on THAT?
If that husband had nothing to do with her disappearance, I'll eat my freaking shoe.

Tracey was trying to get Mr. Tetso to vacate her home. He had moved out almost all of his belongings into 2 storage spaces and when he begged Tracey for 1 more month before his townhouse he was going to rent was ready .....that's when she disappeared.
Tracey was looking to sell her home just to get him out of her life. He wouldn't leave her alone and she just wanted some space to think. Yes he called and said he was going to meet with the detectives that he was going home to pick up the keys to her car so they wouldn't break in to the vehicle.
It is confirmed that this vehicle only had one set of keys.
Why he's not a confirmed suspect is truely amazing. It's a mans world.

I don't know why he hasn't been named a suspect either. No one else had a motive but him. I wonder what he did with her??? There are so many people missing who have been missing for quite awhile and it is like they vanished into thin air. You would think that hunters would run across their bodies or hikers. Husband Arrested In Tracey Tetso's Murder
.......................snip....................... .
"Unfortunately, we don't have Tracey. So there's a lot of evidence we don't have, but we do have physical evidence. We have a lot of circumstantial evidence," said Cpl. Mike Hill, Baltimore County Police spokesperson.
Police say 44-year-old Dennis Tetso never fully cooperated with the investigation.
"Detectives have exhausted all leads. They have called him, but he has stopped returning their phone calls," said Bill Toohey, Baltimore County's chief police spokesperson.
Tracey went missing on March 6, 2005. She was on her way to a Motley Crue concert, but never made it there. Dennis Tetso reported her missing the next day. Tracey was last seen in Rosedale. She used her cellphone for the last time at 3 p.m. that day.
Police showed up, to the house where she and Dennis lived.
"I woke up in the morning and she wasn't there. I thought she stayed at a friend's house," said Dennis Tetso back in March 2005.
He told police and Eyewitness News she just disappeared.
"I've traveled that road. I've looked on the shoulders are the road," said Tetso. "People ask me what do you think? I don't want to think the worst."
.....................snip..................
Police still do not have the motive in the case.
Tracey's family has said in the past, the marriage was brief and rocky.

There's not really going to be any "new" information - the only thing that has been said (on wjz.com, I believe) is something about surveillance of Dennis in Tracey's car (well we all know about the surveillance that shows her car being "dumped" in Glen Burnie). Since Dennis has (FINALLY) been arrested :behindbar - I think we're going to have to wait for the trial to find out what we've been wondering for so long, and obviously none of us would be able to discuss anything until after the trial is complete.
It's been a long time time coming - a very, very long 4+ years for us...The news Thursday caught many of us off guard, but lifted a huge weight off of our chests,,,,

So weird - I was just thinking about Tracey like 2-3 days ago and just saw the updates to the thread this morning.
I am curious to hear what evidence they had that brought down the indictments.
And I just read this whole thread for the first time last night! And now this!
I am so pleased that Tracey's family that there may be the beginning of justice for her. That still does not locate her body, tho.

Dennis drove a concrete mixer and delivered concrete to building sites - guess LE should check his delivery schedule to see where he delivered concrete in the days following Tracy's disappearance. He would know in advance when a slab/foundation footers would be poured - hard to find a body in concrete. Just a thought
If there was only one set of keys to her car what was he doing with them when the car was found somewhere else? If Tracy drove the car herself wouldn't she have had the keys when she disappeared? I don't know why he hasn't been named a suspect either. No one else had a motive but him. I wonder what he did with her??? There are so many people missing who have been missing for quite awhile and it is like they vanished into thin air. You would think that hunters would run across their bodies or hikers. It's really frustrating.

LE's going over everything - getting all their "ducks in a row". Again - won't know details until trial which I'm reading (but have not personally heard) is expected to be at years end. Maryland has the technology to xray concrete. All scenarios have been taken into consideration and I'm sure have been explored - his occupation, the "car key" issue, etc... We're still not clear what all led to the arrest - it's being reported that it has something to do with surveillance.

Respectfully snipped and bolded by me: I thought the article on WBAL's webpage said something about a type of technology that wasn't available four years ago. Maybe they were able to enhance existing footage of her car going thru the tunnel and they could pinpoint him driving. Or the footage at the hotel where the car was left. Just guessing.
The arrest is wonderful news, but it doesn't offset the fact that Tracey has never been found. She's the third missing Baltimore County woman that I know of who seemed to vanish off the face of the earth (Michelle Rust and Bernadette Caruso being the other two). Husbands are clearly suspects in those cases as well. What does this say about LE techniques in Baltimore County? Cause you know the perp husbands weren't rocket scientists to be able to get away with their crimes.

Video enhancement software development has come a long way in the past couple of years and LE can now clean up fuzzy video to reveal details. An example is Video Resolvr http://www.sarnoff.com/products/video-enhancement/video-resolvr-software
together with the workstation, this sw does an amazing job cleaning up video.

There's another case - Michelle Moseley (sp?) in Baltimore County. Michelle wasn't married, and no the case was not handled properly. Michelle has not been found. Bernadette's husband was a police officer and the Michelle Rust case is similar to Tracey's - I have high hopes for her family that they are also taking a second look at what they've got for her. They way the surveillance info is being reported sounds like it's the tunnel surveillance, but we have to keep in mind that the media gets things wrong a lot and the wrong info does not get corrected (we've seen this several times w/Tracey's case, confusion w/details). I personally think that there should be standard procedure in all states across the board w/missing persons cases - stricter guidelines adult or not. Missing adult cases should be taken more seriously (I know all adults have the right to "disappear" - but time should be taken to determine whether that person disappeared on their own or were killed). We won't know what LE's done or what they have been doing until the trial - they'll give you tid bits, but keep most info close to their belts. Not having a body is difficult - but, there was another case in Elkridge, Md (Howard County, Maryland) that there was a speedy conviction (of course the whole investigation, etc took years) of another husband who killed his wife - the Nancy Riggins case. The husband was jailed for having an affair w/a minor (the babysitter - 14 years old) for 4 years, then they eventually got enough to charge him w/the murder of his wife - he (6 years after the trial) finally took the detectives (who visited him regularly for info) to Nancy's remains. We'll see how this whole thing plays out - but I am convinced that LE has what they need (w/out the body) to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt, and hopefully we will get Tracey back before/after it's all said and done. The Riggins husband was taking his future parole hearing into consideration even though it's years off (although I don't think he should ever be paroled for what he did to his wife and the pain it caused his children).

Suspect In Wife's Slaying Free On Bail
Woman Disappeared 4 Years Ago
A Rosedale man charged with the slaying of his wife four years ago won a court battle Monday to be free on bail.
Dennis Joseph Tetso, 44, of Rosedale, was indicted June 15 in the slaying of his wife, Tracey Tetso, who was 32 at the time of her disappearance. He was arrested Thursday where he worked without incident and had been held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
11 News reporter David Collins said Monday that Tetso went from a no-bond status to a $50,000 cash bail and will be on home detention. He will be allowed to go to work and visit his children in Anne Arundel County, Collins reported.
Baltimore County judge Patrick Cavanaugh considered Tetso's clean criminal history and the fact that he remained in Baltimore County since his wife's disappearance before deciding that Tetso wasn't a flight risk.

Snipped and bolded by me: Maybe now that he's been indicted and arrested, he IS a flight risk. He probably thought he committed the perfect crime before. I don't get a warm, fuzzy feeling from the fact that the judge granted bail and only made it $50K.

Additional stories are also at link.
They have the husband's cell phone records showing he was near the Harbor Tunnel and in Glen Burnie (where her car was found). His story had been that he didn't leave the house that night.
They also have taped calls between Tracy and her husband - she telling him to get out of the house. The calls played in court were taped at Tracy's work - and her boss played the calls between Tracy and her boyfriend for Dennis Tetso. Not sure why he did that......
Hope they have enough evidence to prove this to the jury.

After nearly a week of deliberations, a jury has found a Baltimore County man guilty of second-degree murder in the death of his wife in 2005, even though her body was never found.
Dennis Tetso was found guilty of killing his wife, Tracey, who disappeared in March 2005 after she left the couple's Rosedale home to see a concert in Washington, D.C.
According to the state's attorney's office, the conviction is the first of its kind in Baltimore County where a body wasn't found but a murder conviction was handed down.
