Sounds like this girl had family issues. Plus the mother and step-father did not divulge to LE, until their recent lie detector test, that a man had been living in the home with them for several months and moved out after an argument one hour before Cynthia disappeared. Why did the parents withhhold that vital information?

We live not far from where this little girl went missing.
In fact - my son who is a Search & Rescue Explorer went on a search for her a few weeks ago.
They found nothing unfortunately.
I pray they find her.

Douglas Stephen French faces a felony charge after allegedly taking the runaway to Montana

OREGON CITY -- The man found in Montana early this month with Molalla runaway Cynthia Lamb was charged Thursday in the girl's nine-month disappearance.

Douglas Stephen French, 34, a convicted sex offender, was transferred to Oregon from Montana on Wednesday and held without bail in the Clackamas County Jail on a probation violation charge.

On Thursday, he was arraigned in Clackamas County Circuit Court before Judge Patrick Gilroy on a new charge of felony custodial interference in the Lamb case.

The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years under state statute, said Al French, a Clackamas County Deputy District Attorney. He is not related to Douglas French.

If convicted, Douglas French could serve less than the full 10 years under state sentencing guidelines. The actual sentence would depend on aggravating factors and previous criminal history, the prosecutor said.
