A 47-year-old man was arrested Thursday night on charges of child neglect and furnishing a firearm to a minor, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
According to a Sheriff's Office report, Donald Poplick, of 5849 Wilson Drive, is accused of teaching a 3-year-old boy how to operate a shotgun and of having a firearm accessible to minors.
Deputies arrived after Sarah Poplick saw the 3-year-old playing with an unloaded gun.
