This case has been going on for 5 years!

I don't know where you live, or how old you are, but when this happened it was BIG news in New England and the whole northeast at least. I worked in Cambridge when this happened, so of course I knew a lot about the case from local talk as well as the papers. But because of the post-death rape of Jeffrey's body, and the relation to NAMBLA materials, it was national news. I know it was- friends from all over the country and even in Europe mentioned it to me in e-mails.

I don't know what else was going on in your area that may have obscured headlines about this case at the time, but I can't imagine not knowing that NAMBLA was real. Again, you may be young and weren't exposed to much news back then.

I wonder, given the latest threads about women sidling up to criminals via message boards, if Jaynes and Sicari aren't getting money sent to them from some of those losers, rather than from NAMBLA. The Curley family should check that out.

What's the difference? If "materials" which support this kind of sick, nasty "Man-boy love" supposedly aren't threatening, than why is some 13YO yahoo posting a message on AOL about shooting the President visited by the Secret Service? If talk is so cheap & all...
