Delete my membership

I've been unable to contact your general email or any administrator privately with this issue. I've been visiting Websleuths for a couple of years now, beginning with the Laci Peterson case. Up until the last year, I've really enjoyed it, however, after viewing the site last night, I think the inmates have taken control of the assylum. For a while now the Avatars have been pretty tacky and sexed out, but really just bad taste. Last night I saw paper doll's avatar and that qualifies as pornography in my opinion. Cartoons can be pornographic and I really no longer enjoy the postings. I also no longer want to even be listed as a member. Please delete me. I would have done it myself if I could have figured out how to delete it. Thank you for your courtesy.

I haven't seen any either, unless I click on a link within the message. I haven't seen any that would be considered anything other than "G" though.

I could see them when I wasn't registered. Go figure. It must be a default option to not be able to see them and see links only?

That's an option in your UserCP. You can set it so that you don't see pic's/siggy's, just the link to the image. If you are not a member, you see them.

It must be a setting option.
But I think now I have to figure it out so I can see this avatar that caused such an issue :)

Its a setting option ...

Click on User Cp (upper left corner of the screen)
then choose Edit Options from the list you see on the left of your screen

Scroll down and you will see "thread display options"
You can select there wheather or not you wish to see siggy's or avatars

One thing, when you change a setting in Edit Options, don't forget, click "Save" at the bottom!

While Im not offended by the image, I do have some concerns since the age to join Websleuths is 13. We do have minors as part of our membership. I try to keep that in mind both when I chose a pic, and when I post.

Like I said...I wasnt offended by the orginal, so no need to tone it down for me. There is no rule saying you cant have your original pic there. Its a personal decision we each must make. I chose not to use anything I wouldnt want my own kids seeing under my name.

Like it was stated above, go to your user cp and use those options...........
We all like a bit of humor here... I love Paperdolls, I did not consider the dog one in bad taste, I see that when I look out my window......Dogs big deal.
I do like Minnie though, I second that, she is a hot chicka! :p

I saw the Minnie Mouse, and that picture is about as risque
as as Laura Ingalls on "Little House on the Prairie."

the Forum Finesse area was set for guest posting to enable those having problems with registration etc to post the problem so it could be taken care of.
