A Chinese dating agency has staged a matchmaking meeting for celibate people.
It gave the chance for 65 men and 45 women, aged 20 to 78, to meet up and try to find a platonic partner.
All of them were interested only in sexless relationships, reports the Wenhui Daily newspaper.
Cupid matchmaking agency manager Luo Jun said about half of the candidates found partners.
One would be suitor, Mr Guo, a successful businessman, met a teacher at the meeting.
He said: "This is my first time dating. To be honest, I have never been so close to women, for physical reasons.
"I was in self-humiliation and even lost the courage to live, but today, I am quite happy, since I see hope."
