Prayer Thread for Shasta and Dylan

Jeana, I love that you put this thread up. I just closed my eyes and sent a prayer up. I am constantly pulling up CNN to see if there is any news on these two.

Where do we run, except to You in this moment of desperation, Lord? Father! You have planned everything concerning our lives even before the foundations of this earth. Lord I really do not know where dillon and shasta has gone but we totally rely upon You to bring them back home safely. Your Word says that You are a very present help in trouble, I trust in Your Word and commit dillion and shasta into Your safe hands.

What ever the situation may be, Lord safeguard these two children, one by sending Your angels, and your holy spirit. bring about a change in the heart of the one that has these chilidren and bring them back home soon. I know that You are a prayer answering God and Your ears are always open to the cries of Your children.

Cast away all our anxieties and give Your everlasting peace in our heart. I know You have heard this prayer and I praise You for the same. In Jesus' name I pray.

I am one that gets to bed early, I am up at 4am every morning, I always offer my prayers to those that are in need, I have all I need in life, and there are to many that have little or nothing. I pray all through the day for the missing children and young adults all over. I always say a special prayer just before going to bed, if all who would like to join, I pray for them at 9pm central time, for those that are in a different time zone that wouldn't lap with my time, make that adjustment in your daily lives to join me at that time, regardless where you are or what you are doing, make a special time and place to pray for these children, we all are not promised tomorrow, so tomorrow might not be soon enough. god bless each and everyone of you websleuthers in this nation...

My prayers are with those children and the father and other family members who love them. May they be found safe and sound soon. If they are alive (and I pray they are), they are going to have a lot of emotional baggage to deal with. May God's grace be upon them.

I continue to pray that Shasta and Dylan are alive and being well cared for. I hoped and prayed that they would have been found, prior to now.

I wish these children had some victim's advocates, like Natalee Holloway has. But, unfortunately Shasta and Dylan's best advocate, their mommy, was brutally murdered.

I was happy to see "Aunt Sue" Torres, on Nancy Grace Live last night. It's good to know she is out there pounding the pavement; trying to get flyers of the children distributed. God bless her and give her strength!

And, most of all, God bless little Shasta and Dylan and help bring them home!

I am praying also for Mark Lunsford tonight, as he has been in my thoughts a lot today. Knowing how much these news accounts of Shasta must affect his emotional state. I pray that the Lord comforts him, in knowing that Jessie did not die in vain.

May God give comfort to Mark, Ruth and Archie and all those who are sent reeling all over again, with news such as today's.

Hi ozactie, :) and welcome to Websleuths! What a nice first post .... there are many nice, knowledgeable posters here, who have been covering this case since day one.

I, along with many others, are still praying that Dylan is found alive, and won't give up hope until confirmation is made to prove otherwise. Many of our prayers have already been answered! Also, praying that lil Shasta can recover from her traumatizing experiences.

I would have welcomed you earlier, only I've been out of commission, very ill, since early yesterday; thanks to a not-so-nice poster's comments. We get those types here, unfortunately; but at least it's a rarity.

Again, welcome, and I hope all your encounters here are pleasantly polite. :)

I was watching this evening's news and saw Diana Medina, whose son, Anthony Martinez, is also another possible victim of JED III and I began to cry, realizing how many people this monster's actions have affected. This dear woman now is going to be seeing this monster in her nightmares, and imagining what he did to her little boy, Anthony. Even though this may bring some closure to her, she really needs our prayers.

On two different stations, the news interviewed Brenda's sisters, Misty Cooper and Sam Doble. They too have really gone thru hell and back, and it's only just begun, for them. They will be at the Preliminary Hearing next week. Please pray for all of the extended family.

Lastly for Mark McKenzie's family, the victim who we barely hear anything about. It must be pretty hurtful for them at times, that Mark has barely been acknowledged as a victim in all this. All the focus has been on the "Groene family". Maybe that's a blessing to them; maybe it's not. Mark was a good person, by all accounts; that supported the family & Brenda, so that she could be home for the children. Mark's family remains in my prayers.

Please pray for all the family members of all the victims of monster JED III!
