this sounds really odd to me.
Almost like someone Took the parent(s).

------------------------------------------------

Two days after a baby girl was found abandoned in a Washington Hill neighborhood alley, Baltimore police are still trying to find her parents.

The girl, believed to be between 8 months and 2 years, is in the custody of Child Protective Services and has been placed in foster care.

The girl was found Saturday morning in the 100 block of N. Wolfe St. She was in a stroller and wearing a pink-and-white hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans, and her hair was braided.

A small child's cries awakened the Washington Hill neighborhood yesterday morning.

Like many urban areas, the 100 block of N. Wolfe St. just below the Johns Hopkins medical complex is far from silent on a weekend morning in late spring. But the cries were enough to prompt a resident's call to the police.

And when the police responded to the call about 9 a.m., they found why the infant was sobbing so insistently.

In an alleyway behind the block's well-kept, red-brick rowhouses, they found a young girl abandoned in a stroller. She was well-dressed in a pink-and-white hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans, and her hair was neatly braided.

In the stroller was a bottle.

The girl seemed outwardly healthy and well-nourished. Police estimate her age at between 8 months and 2 years, said Troy Harris, a police spokesman.

doesn't it just seem Odd?

she seems to be very well taken care of.
I am sure as soon as they release her picture
we'll find out who the parents are.
hopefully nothing horrible happened to them.
