6/30/2005 —A new website has been developed to highlight the plight of Shasta and Dylan Groene, missing from their home since May 16, 2005: http://www.shastaanddylan.com/ (http://shastaanddylan.com/). Nine-year-old Dylan Groene and his 8-year-old sister Shasta were last seen alive in mid-May at the home where their 13-year-old brother, mother, and her boyfriend were found beaten to death.

Every day it seems we see more and more stories about children who go missing. You can personally help to find these missing children. At the bottom of the main web page at www.shastanddylan.com (http://www.shastanddylan.com), you can print a copy of the flyer describing the missing children. Please post this flyer in a public place and please include this website in all your emails.

Someone knows something. Please don't keep silent.

If you have any information regarding their whereabouts, please contact:
• National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST)
• Kootenai County Sheriff's Office (Idaho) (208) 446-1300 or (208) 446-2292
• Their father, Steve Groene 1-208-818-0318

A $100,000 reward is being offered for the safe return of these children. Please don’t let them be forgotten

Thanks for starting this thread, Yeah,me. :)

I would like to make a plea to anyone that is following this case and is willing to send a few emails to please do so, and include http://www.shastaanddylan website.

If we all would email a few media outlets, and remind them that Shasta and Dylan are still missing, maybe they will at least show their pictures, and mention them. Maybe we can remind them that Shasta and Dylan don't have their mom anymore or anyone like Natalee Holloway's Mom, out there drumming up media coverage to help find them.

Here are some of the media outlets email addresses that I can provide:

Larry King LarryKingLive@cnn.com

Linda Vester DaySide@foxnews.com

John Gibson BigStory@foxnews.com

Bill O'Reilly Oreilly@foxnews.com

Joe Scarborough joe@msnbc.com

Dan Abrams abramsreport@msnbc.com

Linda Vester daybreak@cnn.com

Neil Cavuto cavuto@foxnews.com

E.D., Brian & Steve friends@foxnews.com

Shepard Smith FoxReport@foxnews.com

Geraldo Rivera AtLarge@foxnews.com

Sean Hannity Hannity@foxnews.com

Greta Van Susteran ontherecord@foxnews.com

Carol and Chad Daybreak@cnn.com

Nancy Grace NancyGrace@courttv.com

Please feel free to add more! :)

Maybe we can at least get some of the media outlets to give out the website, enabling more people to download their pictures and help bring these children home.

Thanks in advance, websleuthers!

Thank you, TG! Glad to do it :) I knew most of those because I have been emailing them to ask them to please cover Dylan and Shasta.

BTW, I added two more - Nancy Grace at Courttv and Carol & Chad on CNN's Daybreak.

Praying they can be located before Dylan's 10th birthday, on July 16th.

Bumping this thread up, in honor of Shasta and Dylan and all other victims of sexual abuse.

The website has some good contact information for those who care to write a letter or send an email, to your legislators.

Thank you, concernedperson. :blushing: I think it was just a difference in opinions. That diversity of opinions is what makes websleuths so great, imo!

I appreciate that more than you know. :truce:

I apologize that my last link to Shasta and Dylan's website does not work. I don't want anyone to think that their site has been taken down so here is a working link:

I'm sorry, BB. I didn't post the link to make people cry. I posted it because I truly believe that remembering the victim is so important.

It's such an atrociously hard case to come to grips with, because we can all identify with the victims as our nephew, our neice, our son, our daughter or grandchild.

On another note, I so loved your "Think Shasta" analogy, I've passed it on to many other people. It's especially handy for anyone throwing themselves a pity party. I commend you for that one, Beyond Belief! It's truly a beautiful perpetuating rememberance of such a tough little survivor!

I know she is a tough survivor but she will face many hardships in the future.I want to hug her and I want to express that a lot of us have had the similar hardships. But, no, they weren't as hard as hers. Jesus, they weren't as hard as hers. This little girl has to go the worst and face the demons everyday. If there was anything I could do, I would. This is the worst case of child abuse that I have ever heard of.
