Duncan plays 'games' online...Could this be how he 'hooked up' with Shasta & Dylan? I wonder if they played games online, they say a lot of sexual predators lurk in them game/chat rooms. Last night her dad said on Geraldo she's been playing a lot of video games since she's been home...maybe she played them online also. ...any thoughts?

I am not computer savvy. IF the computer turns on and I can get online, I'm good. But, many of these threads here on the Groene forum are talking about various websites and screen names all linking back to this Duncan guy. IMO, someone needs to find a way to compile them all together and see exactly what's up!

I know some don't believe there's any big conspiracy, more than just this pervert involved in Shasta and Dylan's disappearance, etc., but honestly, if you read the various threads mentioning these games, travels, pictures, dating sites, etc., they could earily be put together.

On one thread they talk about 6 members of the "Duncan" group and he wants to get them together. The states on various threads interchange. There's another name that's popping up who is also a convicted 'sex offender' and his location is within the sites of Duncan. Oh, and this other offender used the computer to lure his victims!

What if they have a number of games, websites, screen names, that they used to accomplish various aspects of their sick perversion. One guy could communicate on one site with one name, and another could respond on another site under a different name?

This might be part of LE's investigation. Just perhaps, Dylan could be with one of these other sick individuals.

Just a thought.

You can bet your bottom dollar that every cyber link possible is being explored by the FBI here. This guy gives the cops something most perps do not with his blog and with his computer usage. At the same time, the guy was computer savvy enough to know what can be traced, so he would know what things to avoid. I doubt you are going to find any connection to these kids from his computer prior to his going to court. He would be too smart for that. He was constantly lamenting the police surveillance he had to endure as a registered sex offender and had already violated parole for not reporting.

However, once this guy became a fugitive on May 15th, anything goes.

One thing that bothers me, is I followed the Peterson case from early on, it was my introduction, if you will, into studying criminal behavior. One thing I learned is that 'often times, perps will 'explain' something before they're asked.' This fact was evident during the aforementioned case.

In this Duncan's blog, he mentions a five year old little girl, lovingly called "beaner" by her family, who disappeared and has never been found. Well, he lived in her city at the time and he goes on in his blog to come up with an alibi for the time of her disappearance.

Frankly, this gives me an uneasy feeling. I bet you anything, LE is already all over this!

All kids play video games these days. That does not mean they are online.

I know that not ALL of them play online, I have nieces & nephews who play online all the time...AND have been SOLICITED a few times, asked 'where' they live, go to school, etc...they KNOW not to reveal any personal info!

This guy was computer savy enough to be able to do a lot of things online. And I would bet that he has tried to destroy anything that he thinks might be incriminating. But have you ever noticed that there is not much info out there about how LE gets their info from damaged hard drives and where people have used the eraser programs? They are able to reconstuct a lot of info. But how they reconstruct it has been kept a pretty closely guarded secret. They know that once the secret gets out, someone will start trying to find a way to beat it.
So unless he completely removed his hard drives and disposed of them, there is still a chance they may find something.
Still he posted a lot of info on the web, everybody knows that once on the web, it is there forever. If only they can analyse what he has written.

He could have a wireless laptop. You see people all the time now on trains, planes with them...you don't have to be 'stationary' to get online anymore.

I do know that on one site he talked about being in Florida, I believe in March, I know, before this incident. But then on another site, there's pictures of a diving trip in Florida. Different sites and I believe different screen names, but linked back to Duncan.

I was thinking, ok this is before the murders and abductions, but then I remember yesterday in the news conference they said they've had tips all the way to Florida............. :eek:

This guy was traveling!! Just like in the games! Then I see a statement by LE talking about 'traveling predators' when referring to these perverts looking for kids on the net. :(

He was a fugitive from Fargo way back in April, so the last place a fugitive would go is his known address.

Neighbors at that address have said he has not been seen for weeks.

They do not know where he held the children, but it may be that they were camping and not in a house anywhere. If he had a laptop, the cops are not releasing that info yet. His last entry on his blog was May 13th, two days before the murders.
