Police investigating a murder in Cincinnati think a pair of pink alligator shoes can help them crack the case.

The 650-dollar shoes that contain what look like alligator eyes were removed from the body of Gregory Ellis, who was shot to death in June.

Detectives believe Ellis was killed for his flashy jewelry and pricey clothes. More than 16-thousand dollars worth of gold and diamond jewelry also is missing.
