Missing 12 year old Little Rock girl found

Maumelle police say they have found 12 year old Juana Perez at a home just outside of Lonoke. A Morgan Nick alert was issued for the young girl when she dissappeared from a Maumelle home.
Police believed she ran off with a family friend, 33 year old Alberto Zapeda.
The two were allegedly involved in a relationship, but Maumelle police chief Sam Williams said his department refused to use the word consensual.
"No matter what they have going on or what she thinks they have, he`s still very much of interest to us simply because he is in the presence of a 12 year old girl. Even if she thinks she wants to be with him, she cannot be."
Zapeda will likely be charged with kidnapping.

SUSPECT ARRESTED IN DISAPPEARANCE OF MAUMELLE GIRL

12-year-old Juana Perez, the subject of a Morgan Nick Alert, was found Friday afternoon in Lonoke.

Police have arrested 33-year-old Alberto Rodriguez Zapeda. Officers say Zapeda apparently took Juana by force yesterday, but are unsure of the details. Neither Zapeda nor Perez speak English.

Zapeda is expected to be charged with kidnapping Friday night.

Makes you wonder how a 33 year old thinks he can have a relationship with a 12 year old.

Yeah Doyle what a SICK man. He still commited crime EVEN if she said it's OK. In Arkansas, no child under 14 can give consent legally even if they say it's OK. So I'm assuming they will charge him with kidnapping and if any type of "sex" went on they'll charge him with rape, even if she said yes. She's to young to say yes and he's sick to even think of having something with a 12 year old.

I'm not in Arkansas now, I moved to Cleveland about a year ago but I was raised in Southern Arkansas. (was there 30 years and ready to go back! Not enough nice people up here :)I lived in El Dorado, AR. to be exact.
I go home every month to visit family and friends. I just got back from spending Thanksgiving and I'm going again at Christmas. I've been flying home every month since I moved to Cleveland.
