View Full Version : Off Topic/MacDonald on Larry King Live
Sorry I know it's off topic but many posters here are into the MacDonald case as well. Kathryn Kurrich MacDonald will be on Larry King Live tonight discussing the killer. I was unable to find out if he's going to be on as well. MacDonald is suing one of the prosecutors who handled his case--for perjury. He never gives up does he?

Yeah James Blackburn!!! I tried to watch it, but I like my TV too much. I nearly threw various objects at it, so I changed the channel. Who is that famous M.E.(I think) that was on there? I saw a teeny bit of his interview. I hadn't realized he was a Mac. I briefly heard him say that the prosecution said the motive was the daughter wetting the bed. He must not understand the word "motive". Did you and your TV make it through the whole thing? Are you on EST also? It seems like you're soooooo far away, you should be in a different time zone.

There was a story on Good Morning America this morning about new evidence proving McDonald possibly innocent. I had to leave for work so I taped and will have to watch tonight, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with Larry King interview.

I just yell, "liar, liar" I wonder if she knows she's lying or if he has fed her. That was Dr. Cyril Wecht, whom I lost all respect for. He's nothing but a paid whore. The nerve of him to get up there and claim that MacDonald was stabbed multiple times. yes he made a huge blunder there didn't he saying the motive was a wet bed. More later, I have to run.

there's no new evidence. It's all smoke and mirrors once again. It was a US Marshall assigned to guard the judge and the prosecution during the trial that allegedly overheard the prosecutor telling Helena Stockeley that if she admitted on the stand that she was in the house, he would charge her with first degree murder. The affidavits are on his website, I can't download them for some reason as that Adobe doesn't work but apparently they are nothing.

As much as I loathe sitting through a Larry King interview - this was a most interesting & informative chat with MacDonald's attractive wife.
If the new information she provided is accurate - and I do believe from that interview that "she totally believes in him with all her heart & soul" - there's at least a good chance this former physician might win his appeal and be exonerated.
It's been so long since I've kept up with the particulars of the MacDonald case that I'm sure I've forgotton a great deal of the evidence that convicted him. I do remember that - at the time - I thought the conviction was warranted. But .. what if he is innocent of those horrendous murders???
Anyway - I thought perhaps the mods could merge this O/T thread with the main one regarding this case. link below ...

don't worry, he's not innocent. Nor can he win an appeal. His appeals are long finished. He has nothing now except this motion. Oh well he goes before the parole board in 15 years but I won't hold my breath that he'll get paroled--if he's still alive.
