I do hope she is found okay and things can be worked out. This caught my attention because I had relatives from Brownsville and visited there many years ago. Also have visited in West Penn Hospital, so this is interesting to me.

Divers search Mon for missing woman

Divers searched the Monongahela River near Brownsville Sunday, but failed to find the body of 53-year-old Beatrice Walker, causing the lead investigator of the case to call off the search for the body of the Pittsburgh woman with local ties.

Lead investigator in the case, Brownsville Police Officer Josh Mrosko, said the search Sunday did not turn up the woman's body or any other evidence connected to her disappearance.

...Among the items in the car was a suicide note penned by Walker, Mrosko said. He said the woman's family, including her brother and sister who live in Brownsville, are concerned with their relative's disappearance.

...Walker went to her scheduled day of work at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh on Dec. 28, the day before her vehicle was found abandoned in Brownsville, but she did not stay for her entire shift, the investigator said.

Mrosko said the last known family member that Walker had contacted before her disappearance was her daughter, Brandee Walker. It was a quick conversation before the woman left for work, he added.

"(The conversation) was nothing out of the ordinary," he said.
