This is sad. His wife sounds like such a sweet little old lady. I am glad she finally knows.

That is so sad I feel really sorry for her. As long as he was missing she at least could hope he was out there somwhere.

What got me was back when he went missing they used tracking and cadaver dogs but they still didn't find him???????

In sweltering heat, a massive search was launched later that afternoon by the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office, Dickson County Emergency Management Agency, Tennessee Highway Patrol, aircraft, searchers on ATVs and tracking and cadaver dog teams.
Records show the temperature in the heat of the day in Dickson on Aug. 16, 2000 was 103 degrees.

The search continued for several days but searchers turned up nothing. Additional searches were also conducted later.

I know! I dont get it, should have been quite a smell for those dogs to follow!
