A mother of four has been missing for more
than a month, and Arkansas State Police have joined in the search
for her.

Forty-four-year-old Valerie Gibbs of Warren was last seen
December 17th. Her mother, Shannon Stevens, says she dropped off
Gibbs at a convenience store that afternoon.

one in high school, was in the process of getting a restraining
order against a male acquaintance she felt threatened by.

OMG!! my mother has been deceased since 1992. Her maiden name was Valerie Gibbs and she had 4 children. When I saw the post, it made my heart flutter but of course I immediately reminded myself that whatever the thread is about can NOT be about my mom.


I will pray for Valerie's family~it very well could have been our beloved mom.

Valorie was last seen Sunday, December 18, 2005 about 5:00pm on foot. She was wearing blue jeans, a green shirt, and a black jacket. Valorie resides in Warren, Arkansas and Port Naches, Texas. She is also known as Kathleen Farmer, Valorie Farmer, and Valorie Stevens.

(I don't know why her first name is spelled differently or why she has so many aliases.)

Valorie was last seen at the Tobacco Shop in Warren, AR on the evening of December 17, 2005. She was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and a black jacket. She was battling an addiction to crack cocaine but lived at home with her parents, Max and Shannon Stephans of Warren. She has three children who she has not made contact with since her disappearance, which is very unusual for her. Police do not believe that Valorie is missing of her own choice and ask for any information to help locate Valorie.

I'm from Northeastern Arkansas. Warren is in Southeastern Arkansas and I have relatives living there. I can say for a fact that Warren and the general area surrounding it is pretty run down. There's hundreds and hundreds of wooded areas around it also. I hope she is found soon.
