Search crews found a child's body in the Tennessee River yesterday, about eight miles from where authorities think a man jumped into the chilly water with his 22-month-old son on Christmas.

For little William

Has anyone heard any news on this little one?

Here's the latest. Yes, the baby was found in January and the dad was found yesterday.
(I live in Knoxville so have followed this one closely).

How terribly sad.... obviously this man was not in his right mind but what in the hell was he thinking taking his poor baby with him!!! I have a 17 month old and I can't even begin to imagine the kind of grief the mom and the rest of the family are going through. :(

I'm praying for them, and Little Will.

Me, too, Val. The man's brother has been on TV several times and it is just heartbreaking. I don't understand the reasoning behind his taking the baby with him - it's never been discussed in the paper or on the news. I do know that he left a suicide note, but the contents of the note have not been made public. Maybe I will hear something. If I do, I will post.
