Vermont State Police are looking for a young woman, who was reportedly kidnapped in St. Albans. Krista Chesebro was reported missing yesterday. There also is no sign of her vehicle, a blue 19-95 Geo Prism bearing Vermont Registration D-W-T-103. All attempts to contact or locate the victim have been unsuccessful.

Vermont State Police say they have found a young woman who was feared kidnapped from St. Albans.

Krista Chesebro was reported missing Wednesday. Police say she sent a text message to a friend claiming she was kidnapped.

But Wednesday night, police made contact with her. Chesebro was safe and in Vermont.

Police say the text message followed some emotional problems, and that Krista was never kidnapped after all.

Krista came into the faciltity friday night.

She said that she wished that she was kidnapped.Her sister was kidnapped last year and her family was held at gunpoint Christmas day.
He had charges of First degree unlawful restraint,3 counts of kidnapping and burglary charges.

The same man who committed the crimes against Krista's family also held a 60 year old Montgomery woman hostage,shot her dog,stole money and marijuana from the home in 2003.
