Littlejohn was just a scrawny 16-year-old when he and his cohort burst into Runway Fashion men's clothing store on Park Avenue South - but he acted like a hardened criminal.
<SNIP>
"He had me from behind," said Elashmawy. "He held the razor to my neck."
But the owner wasn't about to stand by and have his throat cut.
"With my left hand, I grabbed the razor and broke it, and the guy with the shotgun got nervous," he said.
"He swung the shotgun and hit a customer in the head and broke the gun. When he saw it was broken, he ran out."
Someone from the store chased the thug, but he got away.
Meanwhile, Elashmawy and one of his employees tackled Littlejohn and pinned him to the ground. Cops arrested him at the scene.
Under questioning, the teen kept his cool, claiming he didn't know his accomplice.
"He told the cops he just met him on the subway," said Elashmawy.

thank you for the link, Pondering Things! At the tender age of just 16, this thug was already rockin' on with his bad ass self. Thank God the proprietor did not lose his life, although I'm sure he was traumatized by it all. How eerie for him to see this guy many years later in the media...

Since this all began and his picture is plastered all over, I wonder how many other people (even unsolved crimes) are looking into his face and having flash-backs to when they were brutalized by a crime. Do they recognize him? :eek:
IMO, he's too concerned with his picture being out there splashed across all the media outlets. I think there's more to this story. :mad:

Something about that account does not ring true, it could just be the store owner is Egyptian, but the use of the word broke twice seems odd that a shotgun would also be broke, maybe he meant to say jammed.
LJ shows he was a hardened teen, now we see what hardened teens grow up to be! Scary

I guess his parole officer never bothered to check on him at night to ensure he was at home where he was suppose to be "by law"?? If they had and actually followed up on it.... to see where he was every evening instead of at home.. maybe they would have found out he was violating parole. Another case of people not doing their jobs.

I read the story at

Maybe the reporter helped clean up the english to make the report more readable, but then again I hate to just assume that an immigrant can't speak well. As to the word broke and broken: I did a find-it search of that page and I found where the razor was broke and where the shot gun got broke as it was used to hit someone and I saw where he said one guy ran when he saw the shotgun was broken but that was all the instances of the word that I saw. Not sure what was meant by "broke" and "broken" about the shotgun. It could mean in two pieces or it could mean just jammed or anything inbetween.

Not only that but he believed DL was working at the mortgage lending company in the same building (obviously connected to the Dorrians). POs here do pay unannounced visits to home and work, especially if this is a felon with a questionable release ("menace to society" is in his folder). Also the Feds were supposed to be tracking him but didn't. :rolleyes:
