I then went to myspace and tried a few combinations of the name and with the name "Caleb Camerer" I came across this:

GROVE, Okla. … Bonnie Ferne Wooldridge Lett, 79, 104 N. Delaware St., died at 4:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 1996, at a nursing home in Neosho, Mo., after a long illness.

Mrs. Lett was born Oct. 8, 1916, at Pineville, Mo. She had lived in Grove since 1969. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian Church, Grove, and the Order of the Eastern Star, New Lexington, Ohio.

She married Clifford R. Lett on Oct. 19, 1935, in McDonald County, Mo. He died Feb. 17, 1996.

Survivors include a son, Dale T. Lett, Neosho; a daughter, Brenda Gooch, Powell, Mo.; two sisters, Azalee Allen, Kelso, Wash., and Mary Alice Callis, Hiwasse, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, with Marvin Tunnell officiating. Burial will be in Neosho IOOF Cemetery.

Grandchildren serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Rasor, Curtis Crouse, Travis Crouse, Ryan Wolfe, Chris Nelson, Kelly Hart and Caleb Camerer.

How about doing a search on google and finding out if there is a Crime Stoppers website for that city, or for that specific area. Then call and talk with them. If that doesn't work, try calling an investigative reporter at one of the local TV stations where he disappeared.

Anybody else have any ideas?

If you go back to his myspace profile, someone posted pics in the comments section of a trip to Las Vegas. The tall blond kid wearing glasses looks exactly like him. Also, he lists his hometown as Billings. Billings is about 20 miles from Springfield, MO.

This guy either left and didn't want to be found or the case was solved long ago and the info not updated. I lived in Springfield in 2000 and I don't remember this case at all. Which is odd, because he and I are the exact same age. I tried to find an article from the local paper, The NewsLeader, but the archive didn't show anything about it. Google search didn't help, either.

Yes...that really looks like him. Tall kid on the left with glasses. Look at the link to the picture...it his is whole name. I'm thinking this is an old case that never got updated...but why would he not have any pictures on his myspace? Kinda strange.
Does he have a brother named justin? Could he be the other guy in the pic?

His myspace account profile is set to private now, so you can only see his "default" profile picture unless you're his friend. I'll dig a little more and see if I can find anything. Was LE ever contacted about this case?

I searched on Facebook for a Caleb Camerer and found a "Nathan Caleb Camerer". Although is profile isn't really set up and I can't gleen any information from it. But it does appear he is alive and well somewhere.

I'll try to attach the pic of my search, this is my first time attaching an image, so cross your fingers! :)

I think someone needs to contact LE if it hasn't been done recently. His case is still listed on The Charley Project website, and his case is still being discussed on Porchlight (http://z10.invisionfree.com/usedtobedoe/index.php?showtopic=11690).

See posts #8 and #12. Someone did contact LE a long time ago, but we don't know what the results were.

I think someone should indeed contact LE. Are you willing to do that?

The only information that I heard was that the email would be forwarded to someone. That was it. Kind of a shame. I too am pretty sure that this is him. It has to be.

I have been having problems with this site for the past few days so I have not been able to reply, but PLEASE CONTACT THEM. I hope that you have more luck than I did and please keep me updated with anything you hear back, I would really like to know how this ends.

I was trying to hunt down exactly who to contact for this case - it's a bit confusing because he's missing from Springfield, MO on the charley project page, but since his car was found in Newton County, Arkansas the report says that Arkansas authorities are handling the case.

So I was on this handy website: http://www.acic.org/missing/search.php and not even narrowing down the info, it only comes up with 16 individuals missing in Arkansas (which seems inaccurate), none of which are Camerer. Missouri doesn't have a missing person's site itself - it just directs you to the NCMEC site. He's not on ncmec.org or theyaremised.org.

Do you think his case has been closed and no one was notified? I guess I could just hunt down Newton County's contact info, but I hate to bug them if it's not even a valid case anymore.

I just googled his name again, and found a classmates site with his info:
