They even lied about their name.
The SoHo bar where Imette St.Guillen downed her last drink before she was killed - allegedly by an off-the-books bouncer - was accused yesterday of a string of violations that could cost the nightspot its liquor license.
The bar owner, Michael Dorrian, was charged with violating state law by knowingly employing convicted felon Darryl Littlejohn as a bouncer, refusing to answer questions about Littlejohn under oath - and even failing to tell the State Liquor Authority his bar was called The Falls.
The authority also slammed Dorrian's brother, Daniel, saying he "provided false or misleading information to police officers" probing St.Guillen's murder - allegedly lying to cops on March 3 and 4, the same days her family held her wake and funeral in Boston. "He lied. He hedged. He ducked and weaved," a police source said of Daniel Dorrian. "He did everything he could to avoid helping to find who killed this girl. All because he didn't want to lose his liquor license. For money and greed."

According to the NY Post, the Falls was open for business last night. Has it been open and operating this whole time? I am one New Yorker who vows NEVER to step foot in a bar owned by this family.

It's still open, but believed to be in it's final days, from what I have read.

The Manhattan bar at the center of the investigation into the murder of Imette St Guillen is being shut down.
NYPD officials said today that the bar is being shut down as a result of numerous reported crimes, repeated police responses to 911 and 311 calls, and as a result of multiple State Liquor Authority violations.

:D
Is there any chance if they get up to regulation standards that they can re-open this bar?

Mayor Bloomberg Signs Bill to Crack Down on Club Bouncers
The mayor signed a bill that bolsters the ability of law enforcement agencies to make sure security guards and bouncers at clubs and entertainment venues are licensed.
Under the bill signed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Wednesday, establishments must provide proof upon inspection that they are in compliance with state law, which requires that security guards undergo background checks, training and registration.

NOT AS OF TODAY!!!!!! I suspect that this ten-day suspension will not be the last of their troubles.

The New York State Liquor Authority voted yesterday to suspend the liquor license of an Upper East Side bar, Dorrian's Red Hand Restaurant, for 10 days and fine its owner $1,000 for serving alcohol to minors.
The bar, at 300 East 84th Street, was the focus of wide publicity in August 1986 as the place where Jennifer Levin, a teen-ager, spent time with Robert Chambers Jr. hours before she was killed in Central Park. Mr. Chambers has been charged in the death.

That's all for The Falls - Bar surrendered its liquor license
The Falls is closed for good.
At least its old incarnation, now infamous for the murder of John Jay student Imette St. Guillen in February, is over.
