I think I'd have asked the guy to demonstrate how broken it was on himself. At the VERY least I'd have used HIS arm to dangle it from. :-)

Just my personality, but I'd have loved to have been on the jury and to see the prosecutor walk behind the judge on the case and just "peek" into HIS lap, come around front and say "THIS is what a judge is supposed to be like."
