Oh this is good news, let's hope it's them.
What a relief this must be for the Phoenix area residents! I'm especially glad as a dear friend and her hubby have been down in Phoenix for the past month or so trying to straighten up their mom's estate. The gal is a jogger and I was a bit worried about her going out jogging with this 'serial shooter' on the loose (now allegedly 'shooters'). So thank goodness --- now only have to worry about the 'Baseline Rapist Serial Killer' in the Phoenix area. Hope they get him soon, too!
WTG Law Enforcement! Hope you got the right perps, who were named as Dale S. Hauser (sp?) and Samuel John Dietman (sp?), in the press conference.

Suspected Phoenix Serial Shooter #2 (http://www.amw.com/captures/brief.cfm?id=40005)
According to police in Mesa, Arizona, a shooting occured on July 30, 2006 that is now being officially linked to the Phoenix Serial Shooter. Witnesses say they heard loud gunfire at around 11:15 pm. A neighbor found the victim, Robin Blasnek, lying on the side of the road with a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital and later died.
This has been the second shooting over the course of two weeks that police in Arizona are attributing to the Phoenix Serial Shooter.
More than three months after a multi-agency task force arrested Samuel Dieteman and Dale Hausner, aka The Phoenix Serial Shooters, 35 new counts have been announced. Hausner is being charged with five counts of first-degree murder, and Dietman is being tried with seven additional counts, including conspiracy to commit murder and attempted first-degree murder. Prosecutors filed the additional charges on November 17, 2006 against the men, already jailed for investigation in a series of late night shootings that killed seven people, wounded many others and put Phoenix and surrounding cities on edge. »The Full Story
Suspected serial killers took turns at trigger, police say (http://articles.boston.com/2006-08-07/news/29243746_1_dieteman-and-hausner-samuel-john-dieteman-random-recreational-violence)
The gunmen took turns as they drove around the city.
Some nights it was Samuel John Dieteman, a burly electrician with a ragged mop of jet black hair. According to court documents, he'd blast at lone pedestrians from the window of a silver Toyota Camry in what he called ``random recreational violence."
Other nights the trigger was pulled by his roommate, Dale S. Hausner, a baby-faced janitor and freelance photographer, the court documents allege.

Serial Shooter (http://www.criminalmotives.com/serial-killers/serial-killers/serial-shooter/)
The Serial Shooter refers to what authorities now believe to be two men who committed multiple drive-by shootings targeting random pedestrians. The shootings occurred in Phoenix, Arizona, between May 2005 and August 2006, simultaneous to the search for the serial killer known as the Baseline Killer who was also committing random murders of brutality and sexual assault. Investigators believe the Serial Shooter(s) were responsible for eight murders and at least 29 other shootings in the Phoenix area (some reports put the number as high as 38 incidents).
