Sheriff's investigators say a missing 2-year-old Johnson County boy was probably abducted near his home, and a $12,000 reward is being offered for information in the case...

Oh what a nightmare. :( I hate the fact that a 4yr old and 2yr old were allowed to play outside by themself to begin with but to each his own on that one, I don't want to throw salt in the family's wound here. I hope they find the little guy and he is ok...

The 'sneaky woods got him'? But wouldnt that imply that what happened to him was witnessed?

Could he just be trapped and injured somewhere in those woods?

maybe there was someone in the woods in camoflauge? i dunno what the heck that kid meant by sneaky woods.

i don't understand. didn't they ask the 4-year old "but was it a PERSON who got him? what did he look like?" surely most 4-year olds could communicate a bit better than how they are describing it.

You're right! A 4 year old should be able to explain why he calls the wood sneaky and if he has seen anyone around.

wonder if the two year old wandered into the woods and didn't come out and that is why the 4 year old calls them sneaky woods.

Authorities think Kevin wandered away from the house. They say there is no indication he was abducted.

Kevin Brown was wearing a yellow and brown shirt, gray and blue pants, and no shoes when he was last seen.

I hope he is just lost in the woods and they LE are able to find him soon. Maybe LE just isn't saying everything that the 4 yr old had to say. I hope that no one took the little guy. If he is in the woods they should be able to find him with search parties and everything.

He was found 3 miles from his home? My goodness, could a 2 yr. old child go that far on foot in the lenghth of time he was gone?

So glad he was found.

Sorry, I think I got it wrong. It think it was 1 mile.

The searchers who found him are heros. The helicoptor pilot came in on his day off to help search. They were taking one more fly over before calling it a night, when they saw Kevin lying by a stock tank. The sheriff had said that yesterday was the last day of the official search. Thank God they found him when they did.

Another article said he was found about a mile from his home. Poor thing, he was lost and kept moving trying to find his way home.

Praise God he was found alive. I was just reading and reading this thread and was so happy to see the Found Alive post. I am very happy for these parents, but they should learn a valuable lesson from this, you do NOT let a 2 and 4 year old play outside by themselves. It only takes a second for something bad to happen. Whatever you were doing while they were outside playing is not worth it, just go outside and sit down and watch them play.....is it worth your child's life to make a phone call, do laundry, watch tv....never.....

Very lucky here, God was watching out for this little cutie pie....I am very glad that's a long time to survive out on your own for anyone let alone a 2 year old.
