Out front, police are trying to figure out how someone could just simply vanish. Miller, who lived by herself, was last seen by neighbors on Monday. Her daughter was the last one to talk to her during a phone conversation Monday evening. Her son reported her missing on Wednesday. "It's suspicious in the manner, in the fact she left all her personal belongings, her wallet, her ids, were all left behind," said Thetford Police Chief, James Lanctot.

This doesn't sound good at all. The time u don't take id is to go for walk. I wonder if the house was locked and if she had lawn/delivery people scheduled to come to her home. And if those clothes were hung out on Tuesday morning.

I wonder why police so very seldom say they suspect foul play almost until a body is found.
When there are such odd-ball circumstances as this I always suspect foul play until something shows me different.

What in the world is going on in Vermont? I just read the whole thread on that poor girl who's body they finally found....I alway's think Vermont in terms of Maple Syrup and nice people! Duh.......like I should know that there are a lot more people than there's even been.....more congestion...and now more criminals.

Is there a chance that this woman might been in a car accident?
Then again, she'd have her Drivers License with her or maybe a friend stopped by and offered to take her to lunch.......and they were both in a car accident.

I sure hope they find her soon............everyday makes things worse.

I cannot understand why it took them 5 days to find her if she was only 200 feet from her home. Something just doesn't seem right about that.

It seems like that happens quite a lot now days. I can think of several females that when they were found they weren't far from home or from their vehicle if it was found out somewhere.
