SPRING BRANCH — Investigators fear foul play in the disappearance of two Spring Branch girls.

Comal County Sheriff’s Office Detective Sgt. Tommy Ward said that local and state officers have launched a full-scale search for Heidi Soo Renth, 13, and Kimberly Elizabeth Vaughn, 14, who went missing Oct. 7.

Ward said the two girls are thought to be in the custody of Austin resident Steven Alan Stuber, 22, and are possibly headed toward Mexico in a gold Infinity sedan.

I'd heard about Heidi missing .. originally it sounded like a runaway. Today as I was trying to find out more I see that there are two girls ... and they have a name of the guy they may be with..

This area is north of San Antonio ... Southwest of Austin... I met Heidi a few years ago while teaching VBS ... she's a very pretty, bright girl with a lot of personality.

If you are anywhere in South Texas please keep a look out for that Gold Infinity...

I live less than 1 hour away in Fredericksburg and I have heard nothing about this case.

pictures at link This just makes me ill 14 yrs old and nothing until yesterday? Then when you look up tx females in the last year there are 50. God please be with these little girls. I hope they are found safe and soon.

The whole thing here was a little odd - mostly because I think they went seemingly willingly ... they're so YOUNG ...

Originially I just saw a notice with Heidi's picture at a gas station .. then received a couple emails with the same notice attached from people in the community... but the notice was just very sketchy with the same description of the car ..

Just today I found the article in the paper mentioning Kimberly ... I don't know why she wasn't mentioned in the original notice's sent out ... The whole thing is very disconcerting ...

Our community is fairly small ... but not so small that the boys in our neighborhood know these girls .. But I've only talked to older teen boys .. so they wouldn't neccesarily know these girls.

Please keep these two girls in your prayers!

The girls have been found.... apparently they did go to Mexico - they guy's under arrest.
