Search For Missing Marlboro Teen Takes Back Step

Marlboro County Sheriffs Deputies renewed their plea for help in the case of a young woman who went missing more than five years ago.

On August 9, 2001, investigators say 18-year-old Crystal Hicks left her mother's house on Highway 38, but they aren't so sure she left voluntarily. Searches turned up nothing on Hicks' whereabouts.

Crystal's remains were found in DEC 2007. Her identity was confirmed by dental records.

Her Husband Mark Howard Hicks was convicted of second-degree murder for her murder and sentenced to the maximum allowed.

I was able to read articles that had been posted to the helpfindthemissing. org website but can't bring the links here for the articles because they are broken.
