STURGIS (NEWS 3) - Police in Sturgis are looking across state lines for a 14-year-old girl they believe is being held against her will.
Sulema Galvan left home Tuesday to walk to school but she never got there. Police say since then she has made calls on a phone that may belong to 19-year-old Luis Santano. The girl said she was in the country somewhere but did not know where and needed help.
Santano has also allegedly made calls admitting to taking the girl.
Police believe they are in a 1995 red Mitsubishi Eclipse with Michigan plates and could be headed to Mexico.
