CBS) LOS ANGELES A woman delivered a baby in the parking lot of a Koreatown Walgreens location and attempted to leave the newborn there, according to the store manager.

The woman came into the 24-hour drugstore at 3201 W. Sixth Street about 3 a.m., bought some milk and went outside, Jasper Hillman said.

"She spilled the milk and started bleeding," he said. "I asked her if she needed help, if she wanted me to call an ambulance, but she said she was OK."

Another sad story of a woman leaving her baby. This one sounds like the woman may have been mentally disabled or possibly under the influence. The Walgreen employee said she didn't "seem right." She bought milk for the baby but then left it. Somehow I don't think this time it was intentional.

I'm so glad the baby was found and I hope it lives a long happy life.

I hope the baby is okay after being birthed on the dirty, hard asphalt of a parking lot.

She bought milk for the baby but then left it.

She did? You mean the baby was already born when she went in the Walgreen's and bought milk? It doesn't exactly say when she had it. Weird story!

Okay, after re-reading it, you're right, it doesn't say which came first.

The story sounds like she'd had the baby and was bleeding and then dropped the formula. Hopefully she didn't drop the baby. It was a weird badly reported story.
