oh Floh...dang!!!..i'm sorry; wasn't thinking of that 'option', but wished i had....i see no way to edit the poll:(
i guess if folks believe it could have been someone she knew, but not JY, they can add that here on the thread.....

Not enough evidence to convict, but given the suspects we have at this time, JY or the neighbor- 15 (N15), I'm going with JY.
N15 should have probably been on your poll though.

I really think that Jason killed her but I have yet another thought. What if one of her girlfriends that came over that night had problems with her husband/boyfriend? He might have known that Jason was going out of town and MY would be alone. Maybe MY told her friend to leave the guy and she told him what MY said. He might be the jealous type and took it out on MY. The only reason I thought about this is because a friend of mine told this gal to leave her husband (he was a real jerk) and the guy went to her house late at night, drunk and was screaming at her. He wouldn't leave her house so she called the police.

I think that is a good idea not to list him Close due to the contraversy. Plus I read somewhere that the investigators who talked to people in the neighborhood and the trailer park only asked if people had seen any vehicles or anything unusual in the area that evening and early morning. If this boy was at the home earlier as is rumored they would have interviewed him, but we have heard nothing else about it.
Thanks for the poll. Velly Intellesting, as Dr Lee would say!

Hey, MrsM. Nice to see you again! I'm on the did-it side of your fence right now (but just bought a V8 engine on my pogo stick until more info emerges). Going on what we know, JY's actions, the strained silence: I feel JY has protected himself with barbed wired. True, convenience and strange reactions doesn't indicate murder. To say he is incapable of this, hwowver, doesn't wash with me. Have to wait, eh?
Wow! 75% think JY is the perp. Not looking too good for him, even with all of his defenders that were spread out proclaiming his innocence because he's such a great guy. :p
Earth to Jasonites,..............by all outward appearances, Ted Bundy was a great guy too. Even worked on a suicide hot line, at the SAME TIME he was secretly committing his dastardly deeds.
Nice is not a defense against murder. Not sayin' it's absolutely JY who committed this horrible crime, but he hasn't convinced the majority of the public at large.

LOL ... It's a Cyber-Campaign: where anonymous hats are free to say that which they feel like saying, confirming, reminding or adding withOUT fear.
(ps... Hi Sami!!)
The feedback from Captain Joe stating the reporters he'd spoken to claimed folk are 'afraid' to talk remains puzzling. Understandable, this is a major homicide: but to use the word ...afraid?
Well, I have my money on LE. They know what's up and are going through the motions to ensure they haven't scr*w*d up for any trial: I feel this Sheriff is NOT going to bow to audience or media pressure and ... doesn't even concern himself with what they're expecting. HE expects results, his victim's family deserve closure and information and his community expects answers. These will come when he is ready.

Not only did he work on that suicide hotline, but he worked it with the famous author and ex cop Ann Rule, remember The Stranger Beside Me? :)
We heard tale of the same with Snot Pukerson also, not possible, was the perfect crossing guard when he was a child, help little old ladies across the street, blah blah blah.
I find JY's actions, more than suspecious.
I find JY's actions, more than suspecious.
It's Jason's inactions that I find suspicious. Like, not voluntarily going into headquarters and giving a statement. He has a lawyer, what's he afraid of?
Seems as if JY is hiding out, just like SP did prior to Amber coming forth. Who and What is he hiding from?

Of course my suspicions are about Jason but I must admit that is all they are.
I do however keeping thinking about the Sarah Walker case where LE said it wasn't a random attack and the Ex-husband was the main suspect. He did one or two interviews then he went silent and so did the case until drifter was arrested. I would think the ex had probably obtained himself a lawyer during the time the case was unsolved.
So does LE have it right this time? Probably but I am still in a wait and see what happens mode. If it is JY and they are taking this long then I am thinking it will not be a forensic case as we had suspected but a circumstantial case and that takes much longer to build.

I am on the fence too. I suspect it was Jason but can't understand what is taking them so long to prove it and arrest him. With all that blood the killer can't have cleaned away all traces from himself or his car.

Good thoughts Ocean.
That Sarah Walker case was a real stunner, and we went crazy waiting. So it does then make a sleuther more wary about going with one's first intuitions in the case.
I notice we now have some votes for a hitman being the killer or an accomplice. I think that stems from the Bravard LE taking fingerprints. If they have a strange print from the house it could possibly indicate someone else being in the home. Wouldn't you think they would wear gloves if they were going to go in and kill someone by whacking them in the back of the head? They would have to know about blood spatter. If it was JY he might not worry about that as his prints would be there anyway, and the killer would probably wear something over his clothes he could discard, right?
Bloody prints would be tell-tale ones and the other thing I wonder is if the killer wore booties over his shoes so as not to leave shoe prints!

Hi Scandi!
Yes, a boot print would be a good piece of evidence especially if the impression was clear and the sole pattern unique.
I may be wrong but I dont think this crime was done by some mastermind who took a lot of precautions. I am beginning to wonder if JY had to come back for some reason and this is when it started. It does bug me that she was bludgeoned. Usually male spouses will strangle or smother their wives, even beat them to death but bludgeoning bothers me for some reason. The only thing that does give me pause about that though....she supposedly was found in her bed but if she lost a tooth then she could have been awake and fighting and was thrown onto the bed...not necessarily been sleeping there.
It sure seems to me they have found prints of someone's that they haven't been able to identify. If not what would be the purpose of going out and securing more? :waitasec:

Ohhh, the Kim case was so inspiring despite the tragic ending. I still cry when I think about what James Kim did. The latest maps (with elevation, gulp) are overwhelming to me as well. Now that's a real man.
I really think there are more people like the Kims than there are JY's and SP's. We just don't hear about them enough.
I have to admit i am not such a humanist as i protest myself to be.
if anyone knows and remembers the poll way back when on CTV there was one vote for Meredith dun it, well it was me. now 3 others have joined me. i would think after this latest news.
i'm breathing hard. if she has done such crimes that does not necessarily a killer make her. i've been out for the evening and just got in to read this latest bombshell.
my thought it was her earlier on was her saying it was a 'fluke' she was in the house at all when she discovered Michelle's body. who says the word 'fluke'? i thought she sounded rehearsed. although she was also keeping calm for Cassidy.
i haven't changed my mind again completely, but i am so wondering. i sort of meant Meredith when i said on my early post on this thread "someone who knew Michelle".
i'm bad, aren't i? even after voting on the poll without equivocation, Jason dun it, i find my thoughts harking back. i do. :slap:

Floh,
You are not alone. My first thoughts when this happened what that Meredith MIGHT be involved. I kept my mouth shut of course because I didn't want to point the finger at someone who might be innocent. So no, you are not bad. I had the same thoughts. Although probably not a popular one.

I've always questioned (to myself) whether Meredith had anything to do with this. I've convinced myself totally that it's all JY's doing however, because I have a hard time believing sibling killing sibling vs. the more popular husband killing pregnant wife scenario.
So I always come back to JY murdering MY.

I don't know you guys - point is - there was a printout from the computer at the house - at least according to the warrant info wasn't there? LE would have also checked her phone and JYs phone to make sure he called her.
I really hope she had nothing to do with this. If she didn't then somebody is really doing a number on her imo.

It is downright sneaky. Problem I see is that it is also quite clever, and if it is a tactical play on his attorney's part, this case could turn out to be wild.
Who knows what these attorneys might pull in a Perry Mason moment.

sibling killing sibling
vs
husband killing preg. wife
I'll take the latter!
Actually, I'd like neither.....wouldn't that be nice?

I've thought it was the husband from day one. Haven't got it all figured out yet but I think he did it himself without involving anyone that could point the finger at him. Then we find out that he has been seeing a friend of Michelle's for a few months. She has left her husband and Jason's wife ends up dead. I wonder if divorce even crossed his mind or did he see nothing but dollar signs plus two kids.
Aside from Michelle being murdered it really makes my hair stand on end just knowing that this "girlfriend" was supposed to be a friend of Michelle's. There are ugly names for friends like her. I see that she showed up for Michelle's service. That really takes a lot of nerve to go to that service knowing that she had been having an affair with the husband. She will get what she deserves someday. Personally I can't see what either woman saw in Jason Young. The puke.
