He did not want to pay alimony; he did not want to lose the house, he wanted all the cars, he wanted Michelle's life insurance and Cassidy. He hired high profile criminal defense attornies to defend a crime. I'm not sure the other woman was involved but his step-dad acted too quick and he's been too well armoured up. They have to know something with that reaction even if it is the obvious. Air tickets, baggage claim slips, Michelle's personal documents.

From the 11/03/06 warrant:

1. Michelle Young was discovered on the floor of the master bedroom.
2. There was blood on the walls and lamp in the room.

From the 11/21/06 warrant:

1. Meredith reported getting a voice mail from JY to retrieve documents from a printer located next to the computer. the document had been printed on that computer.
2. Jason Lynn Young has been uncooperative
3. Collection of a Cingular wireless phone from the SUV
4. Collection of voice messages on the answering machine in the home, noting it showed that it contained pending messages.
5. Collection of a cell phone from a purse in the kitchen.

Cingular wireless - contained saved voicemails - call activity on the account indicated that JY made frequent checks of voicemail. Cingular has agreed to release audio files of the voicemails.

11/30 Warrant:

Computer stuff from the home
emails and correspondence with JY, MY and Michelle Money
In an interview MM indicated she corresponded by phone or email with JY almost daily.

Someone was wondering what Michelle Young's middle name was and we now know it was Michelle Marie Fisher Young. JY is Jason Lynn Young.

WOW!!!! I check here everyday to see if anything is new. Been sooooo busy with Christmas shopping and birthday shopping (my son) that I haven't had time to really sit and read anything. I noticed both however it was a print out from a printer located next to the computer and was verified to have been printed from that same computer. Check the info from the warrants on previous page.

The voice mail - I noticed, he didn't want to talk to her IMO and apparantly he was quite use to people doing what he told them to do. JMO of course.

The continuous checking of voicemail is interesting - he wasn't answering his phone IMO but checking to see if anyone found the body. (This reminds me of that idiot Peterson who called his friend on the way back from Berkley Marina - that was the only fishing he did that day since he couldn't answer his SIL's call about the gift basket - he called his bud to see if anyone had noticed Laci was gone before he returned home.)

No the warrant does not say specifically what it was on the print out but, it was taken as evidence, - on the previous page I have listed some of the highpoints of the warrants as some of our posters have trouble with PDFs - I used the exact wording in the warrants. FYI.

I don't know what JYs parents know now but I don't think they knew in the very beginning. I say this because if they did they might have hired a lawyer sooner than they did. It seems it wasn't until the family's luggage was seized that they consulted with an attorney.

Just because these warrants were released to the public doesn't mean there aren't MORE warrants which have not been released. Don't know when LE learned of the other woman, but once they did - that would surely be probable cause to obtain further warrants.

I sure hope this other woman contacted LE voluntarily, 'cause if she didn't, the media is going to go after her bigtime. (Not that they won't anyway).

Once the returns on warrants come in, and only then - the warrants become public documents and may be obtained through the Freedom of Information Act request that could be made by you or me. It is not a matter of LE releasing them but rather the decision of a judge based on the FOIA request.

That sounds very possible Strach. Then again maybe she didn't have a clue, like Laci. Why would she want to get pregnant once and loose the baby and then get pregnant right away again if they were having problems? That could be true but the warrant still says she, ES, was present when the warrant was executed at MMs home and she confirmed there were pictures of MY on the seagate hard drive. I'll still take the warrant. I'm a total hard azz aren't I ? :)

Well, we haven't seen anything about drugs or poison so I won't even speculate, at this time about that. However, it was rumored Michelle was attempting to get something from the back seat (after unhooking her seat belt) when he went off the road. IMO, with her in such a vulnerable position just at that instant, there was a strong possibility that she could have even been killed by the accident herself. In the least the baby.

Think about it, he had on his seatbelt, she's say on her knees bent over the seat trying to retrieve something and the car suddenly veers over the side down 100 ft embankment, bumpty, bumpty bump, into four feet of a rushing river.

That's how I understood it to happen.

Usually when a baby stops developing and dies in vitro it's because of a genetic reason. In this case, IMHO, it was because of the accident.

Yes jilly, he did say that. I also read at the time of the trial, somewhere I believe on the internet, that if taken by a pregnant woman, ghb can cause a miscarriage.

So,...........IMHO,...........SP tried to kill the baby BEFORE he finally decided to kill them BOTH. That's why I didn't get the verdict, 2nd degree for the baby. But,.........I also don't think they entered much testimony about her illness to give the jury enough information about that aspect, thus the baby's death was secondary to Laci's death.

In this case, because they had already lost one baby, and I believe due to the accident when HE was driving, I don't think that accident was an accident at all.

The sad thing is, this state does not consider the unborn baby as a second person, only a fetus. Perhaps this case will bring out people in that state awareness of their law and work to have it changed.

IMHO, any husband who kills his pregnant wife is killing TWO people. After all, IF Michelle hadn't been pregnant, she may still be alive today.

One redeeming factor in this case is that they do have a death penalty and if he's convicted of FIRST degree murder, which I think it is, he could get the DP. That is, IF he did it, which I think he did.

You have a good point here scandi. Perhaps Michelle had found out about his affair and they had a doozey of a fight before he left. That would have left Michelle vulnerable to have spilled out a lot to this sorority sister. If this RPD is a friend of THAT sorority sister, she may be privy to a lot of information that most of the other sorority sisters had no clue about. That's why they could have made the statement something like,' we'd be surprised at what we'll find out about JY.'

After Laci's case and some other cases since, it'll take a lot to surprise this WS'er. Wonder what bizarre thing he could be into that we'd be surprised?!

Search warrant 13 November 2006 - this warrant relates to the Compaq Presario computer located in the Young home. This computer was connected to the printer in which the print out was found that MF was asked to retrieve.

There is a bit of interesting wording here:

"The victim's sister came to the house to retrieve a document, which was on the printer, located next to the computer. The document had been printed from the computer the hours before the victim's death was discovered."

This warrant also includes examination of communications programs on the computer - seems to me that LE will be able to discover; one if the computer had the ability to receive a remote fax; if so what time that fax was received and at what time it was printed; as well as the source of the transmission. JY boy better hope like heck all of that is accountable for and it doesn't show this fax being printed in the middle of the night or being downloaded from a website in the middle of the night. I would assume being a salesman, the computer would be configured to do such, the timing and the transmission source might be very interesting however. Just messing around as I have tired of the girl friend story already.

Don't know what Meredith was told - the search warrant however reflected that she had received a voicemail from JY to go over and get the fax (whatever). But no details about the circumstances. Can't help you on that one luv. ;)

They claim to be a friend of a sorority sister but I really have no idea. I think they know something or someone who does. I got the impression when that person first started posting over there that it was a he but I've seen some saying she and I really can't say why I got that impression.

I think RC's theory about selective info now being put out there after that poster has gained others trust is a rather good theory and very possible. That poster in particular is careful not to interject opinions on guilt I noticed.
