if you go to http://pollyklaas.com/ - navigate to missing kids, then unsolved murders - Anthony Martinez's case is there. There's a sketch of the abductor.

If compared to the cnn.com photo of JED - there is quite a resemblance.

Thanks for starting this thread, Luthersmama!

I heard JED's confession in the CA and WA cases, on my nightly news and responded in their respective threads in the original Duncan Forum.

I don't know about anyone else, but this subforum business is a bit confusing to me. But I do understand the need for it, because previously its been the state of Idaho vs JED and now its the feds vs JED and more recently the state of CA vs JED.

Technically these two cases that he confessed to today would have come under the State of WA vs JED III, and the State of CA versus JED III, but then we would have had two more JED sub-forums, I guess?

Here are the other threads on case discussion of JED in the CA and WA cases:

Anthony Martinez (Always bothers me that Anthony is not named on that thread topic):

One male and two females. He really didn't care. As long as they were children, he was interested. Very sick.

The confession for the girls isn't true according to the King County Sheriff.

From the link:
The King County Sheriff's Office, which is investigating the sisters' deaths, was interested in whether Duncan had provided any new information that might lead to his prosecution. But investigators learned Wednesday the information was the same Duncan had given to the FBI in 2005, details that do not, in the view of the sheriff's office, constitute a confession, spokesman John Urquhart said.

"We believe that calling the information that he provided a confession is not accurate. The feds disagree, and it comes down to semantics. But we are the lead agency," Urquhart said.

He said Duncan did seem to have knowledge of the crime, "but he could have got that from a cellmate," he said.

Semantics, schmantics ... who else did it? He lived in the immediate area when they went missing.

And as a final comment, the "mother" has been out of touch with all authorities for years.
