Discovered on January 31, 1988 in a wooded area of Woodland Township, Burlington County, New Jersey.

Vital Statistics


Estimated age: 24 - 30 years old
Approximate Height and Weight: 5'8" - 5'11"; 140 - 180 lbs.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair. He possibly walked with a limp on either side.
Dentals: Dental records available.
Clothing: He was wearing blue jeans, a brown strap belt with a metal buckle and white Jockey shorts, size 30-32.
A gold colored moneyclip missing an insignia and a piece of Fool's Gold (iron pyrite) was found in the pocket of the jeans.

Classification: Endangered Missing

Age at Time of Disappearance: 17 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 6'1; 185 lbs
Distinguishing Characteristics: White male. Red hair; blue eyes.
Marks, Scars: A burn scar on his upper right arm.
Clothing: A gray jacket, jeans and tennis shoes.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Lango was last seen leaving his home at midnight on January 1, 1988 (New Year's Day).

It is said that his DNA is available and tests are complete. Dentals aren't available for the missing person. The UID has mitochondrial DNA and dentals available.

I don't see it as a match at all. UID estimated to have died in 1987, had brown hair and was certainly below 6' tall. Lango had red hair, was missing less than one month before this UID was found and was 6'1".

Mark Weisman reportedly walked with a limp and [IMO] he looks like the reconstruction on NamUs.

Mark's height and weight are about the same as the UID. He would have been 32 in 1987, which is slighter over the estimate of between 23 to 31. There is no mention of a shoulder injury in the UID, though, which Mark reportedly had. Also, I am not sure if he had any ties to New Jersey.
