Christopher Steven Suri, was last seen about 5 p.m. Saturday. Family members said they thought Christopher was walking from his home at 6031 Saddle Tree Drive to his grandmother’s home, which is about two miles away at 6641 Old Pasco Road, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office and about two dozen family members, neighbors and friends were searching for the boy Saturday evening in a wooded area near where he may have walked, the sheriff’s office said. He does not have a history of running away, the sheriff’s office said.

He is described as 4 feet 9 inches tall and 75 pounds with brown eyes, very short brown hair and a scar above his right eye brow. He was last seen wearing dark pants with black jacket, gray stripes and brown shoes, the sheriff’s office said. The boy may have been carrying a toy sword.

I wonder if someone stopped to give this little boy a ride? He was walking two miles to his gramma's house. That's an awful long ways for a little boy of that age to be walking. Is it cold out there? I hope this little guy is alright. I just have to ask...why would the parents allow this little guy to walk that far? Why not drive him especially in this day and age.

I have to agree with you, Bobbisangel, especially since the parents only "thought" he was walking to his grandma's house. They apparently don't even know for sure that was what he planned to do. I know accidents happen, but it so often seems that if parents were just a bit more careful, many tragic events could have been prevented.

A missing 10-year-old boy was found early today, safe and well, hours after he apparently got lost while walking from his home to his grandmother’s house.

A tow truck driver noticed Christopher Suri walking on the side of the road overnight. The boy was reunited with his family around 4 a.m.

Bless his little heart...I bet he was so scared. I am glad that he is okay and I hop that his parents learned something from this and will hold him a little closer now.

I'm so glad they found this darling little boy. I have two grandsons who are 10 yr's years and I and their parent's would have been out of our minds!

Seems like a nice family.....mom and dad..Oh, thank God he's okay.

I'm so glad this boy was found. Thank goodness there are still some decent people like this tow truck driver who brought him home. I'm not sure why the parents would let him walk 2 miles alone.

I'm so glad he was found, too. My heart aches for him, knowing how scared he must have been, in the dark for hours.

Oh thank God he is alright. That poor little guy. He wasn't even sure how to get to his gramma's! What in the world! I hope that LE has a good not so nice talk with the parents of this precious little guy. This story bothers me.
