Poor girl. She is probably so frightened and easy prey for for someone with bad intentions. Hope she is found safe.

state that it was her foster mother she got in the argument with. I wonder if her bio parents are in the picture at all and maybe she tried to go there.

Detectives consider the disappearance of a mentally-challenged 18-year-old Gridley teen "suspicious in nature" and want to find a "person of interest" in the case.

A Butte County Sheriff's Department helicopter searched the Gridley area Wednesday and Gridley-Biggs police used search dogs Tuesday in the effort to find the missing teen. The searches did not turn up Hollinger-Shepard.
Investigators say they will release a composite drawing Thursday afternoon of a "person of interest" they want to talk to regarding the missing teen. That individual has not been identified.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 18-year-old woman described as “mentally challenged” who disappeared, possibly abducted, from near her Bridley, California home Tuesday. She was last seen with a Hispanic man, and may be in the Central Oregon area.

Lori was last seen in the company of a Hispanic man, 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot 9-inches to 5-foot 10-inches tall, weighing 230-240 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The man speaks fluent English, police said.

Detectives have released a sketch of a man reportedly seen with a missing mentally challenged Gridley teenager.
Nora "Lori" Loreta Hollinger, 18, was seen at a local market on Tuesday. An employee provided a description of the person of interest.
While detectives are not calling it an abduction, they have grown increasingly worried because Hollinger left with no extra clothes or money.

Police say the man and Lori did leave the store together, but they still aren’t sure what role the man played in her disappearance.
When approached for comment, Gary Keeler, Gridley police chief, said, “At this point, he is just a person of interest we would like to talk to. She [Hollinger] was in the store with him and didn’t really appear to be under any duress with him. But he is unknown to the family and unknown to the employee of the store.”

Keeler said the eyewitness is familiar with Hollinger but did not recognize the man.
“He thought it was unusual because she is usually with family,” Keeler said.
The two bought Gatorade and food items at the store, Cook said. There was no information on whether they left in a vehicle or which direction they might have traveled.

Both air and ground searches had negative results.
Gridley-Biggs Police, the Gridley Fire Department and Gridley Public Works also passed out fliers with Hollinger's picture door to door all over Gridley on Wednesday.
They also searched outbuildings toward the northern city limits of Gridley. Cook urged citizens to check any abandoned outbuildings, garages, etc. for Hollinger.
He said they are working with some tips of possible sightings of her, but at this point nothing has been confirmed. Ground searches now need to rely on positive sightings or a confirmed spot where Hollinger might be due to some kind of evidence.
Hollinger's biological parents live in Oregon, and she has a foster dad in Marysville. They've all been interviewed.

I wonder where she was for those 4 days? Was someone taking advantage of her?

So far there's been no follow up and I really doubt there will be. I just have no idea but am relieved she's home safe.

A developmentally disabled 18-year-old Gridley woman who had been missing since Tuesday surfaced Saturday afternoon at the Wal-Mart in Willows.
Nora Loreta Hollinger called police from the store and Willows officers picked her up about 3 p.m. That department contacted Gridley-Biggs police, and she was transported to the Gridley station and interviewed for several hours Saturday night.
Gridley-Biggs Lt. Brian Cook said at least one man is expected to be arrested in connection with Hollinger’s disappearance and two other men are “persons of interest.” No one is expected to be in custody until Monday at the earliest, according to Cook.
Cook described Hollinger as being “in a confused state of mind.”

One arrest is expected and Gridley police detectives are looking for two other "persons of interest" connected to the disappearance of a mentally challenged teen last week.
Cook said Hollinger told investigators that she was walking near northbound State Route 99 north of Gridley last Monday when a man offered her a ride.
After going to a local market to buy Gatorade and food, the man allegedly drove her to an undisclosed location until she was dropped off near a Wal-Mart store in Willows Saturday.
