a 3 year old girl dissappeared from her home and is suspected to have drown in a river.
so similar to how things began for Annasmom. I know this doesn't really belong in this forum, but I thought this little girl (and her mom!) could use all the prayers she can get.

How sad. It sounds in this case, that the little girl did end up in the river since two of her boots were found in the river.
Children being able to manuever doors, getting out of the house, getting into cars always scares me. I'm also amazed in this day and age when people are still comfortable leaving their doors unlocked.
Prayers sent for this little girl and her family.

Gosh. Thats so sad. My cousin drowned when he was 2 back in 1985. His parents owned a sailboat down in the Virgin Islands and they were busy doing something and he fell off and drowned. The whole thing was horrible. My aunt never recovered from her son's death, neither did her older son. Her husband was a piece, of you-know-what, he didnt even go to the baby's funeral!

Jon Carroll's column in today's San Francisco Chronicle (SFGate.com) says: "Gratitude is the antidote. It is useful in combatting a variety of diseases, from something as vague as the discontents of civilization to something as specific as personal grief. Thanksgiving is the holiday of gratitude, and I am always willing to celebrate it." I am grateful to Tricia and to all you WebSleuthers for your interest, your many kindnesses, and your amazing help in the search for Anna Christian Waters. Thank you, and happy Thanksgiving!

Annasmom, we're grateful that you and your family are with us today. Not many forums here, come to think of it-there is no other forum, has so many family members who actively participate in the search. Your dedication and love for your family has inspired all of us.
