Family member or someone judged by him in the past? This sounds horrible. I'm so sad for that family and neighbor for what they went through.

Seems like security was pretty tight in his building though. Hopefully they'll find the person responsible soon.

Danielle Dufault, a resident of the building, says security there is extremely tight. "It is a gated community," with a security guard at the gate, surveillance cameras, she said, and "you have to use a special key to get in."

Her husband Robert Dufault says "You don't get in there unless you know somebody."

That's from Alta's link - hopefully the surveillance cameras will provide the authorities a suspect. How horrible for these folks! You're supposed to be able to feel safe in your own home.

Mystery over triple murder

......................snip..................

Ottawa police said yesterday they have no suspects and no motive behind the triple homicide.

Garon and his wife had attended a friend's birthday party on Thursday, according to friends Adrienne and Lysette St. Cyr.

At the dinner, Garon told the couple that she had been surprised by a knock on her door that morning.

Garon opened the door expecting to see a neighbour. Instead, there was an apparent delivery driver.

"He said he had a package for her, but had forgotten it and would come back the next day," said St. Cyr. "She said it was strange."
