Police look for missing boy
A Rio Rancho mother said that her missing son had always been home before dark. In fact, she said, her son is scared to death of the dark.
But after the child failed to come home Friday by nightfall, Dawn Nguyen became afraid.
“Its been awful,” the mother said. “I haven’t been able to eat, I haven’t been able to sleep. I just don’t know what to do.”
Rio Rancho police are looking for 11-year-old Tang Nguyen and ask that if you know where the boy is, to contact them.
They believe Nguyen, who is slightly autistic, is probably at a friend’s house but did not let his family know.
Police went door-to-door in Rio Rancho looking for Nguyen on Saturday. They believe he is still in the area.
