Since they know who the older girl is and how old she is now....they should be able to give us a definite age (or close proximity) of the little girl.

If the older girl has aged 5 years from the time of the tape, we will know what age that we should be looking at..currently..for the little girl.

I am certain the police know who the guy is already but are playing their cards close to the vest. In today's world with AMW and cable news, someone has turned this guy in.

Cal, in an email to Christine, the detective said yesterday that it confirmed that they were pretty accurate in their estimate. The little girl in the tape is 3-5 years old. They also said they believe the tape was made between 2004 and anywhere as recent as early 2007. So she could be as young as 3 still, or as old as 8 now.

I know this probably doesn't help in identifying Patience but I keep trying to figure out what relationship there might be between her and the perp. As someone else said I don't think she's a kidnap victim since it says it appears she's been abused before. Could he be a house husband, a boyfriend that stays at home while the girlfriend works and supposedly watches the baby? I would think if there's a mother in this little girl's life then she has to know about the abuse. How can you bathe your child at night and not know they're abused. Even if he left no bruises on her there are other indications.

Me too, she has been on my mind and in my heart for days. I have hope they will find her and nail the perp. There was a case like this a few years back. They had found pics (like these) of a child that were determined to be taken at a Disney resort in Florida. After making the girls pics public, they found the girl. The perp was her adoptive father and he was already in jail for something else.

I think she may be related to the perp, there are facial similarities between the two of them. However there may not be a Mom in the picture..her hair doesn't look combed and clothing doesn't look like something a Mom would pick. Yea, I think they are related also. I think them being related is also the reason she hasn't been identified yet. :( I guess I am holding out hope that there is extended family that is going to get involved. At first, I found hope in that darn dust ruffle! :crazy: The dust ruffle indicated the presence of a woman in this man's life, IMO. Sadly, that doesn't always provide protection for children. Talking about how quickly an ID can be made, it reminds me of the case of the two, husband and wife, in Arizona. They were exposed by the O'Reilly factor weren't they? IIRC, they were ID'd almost immediately. I hope that is the case here.

msnbc just now reporting that the lab is investigating and analyzing the sex tape for audio and video clues. So yes, we do know now that the tape has audio, which could be critical in solving this case and locating purity patience.

Mark Klass was just on being interviewed by Mika, this guy is going to be caught. Police do have more hints and clues that haven't been released for obvious understandable reasons. They've also definately narrowed down the time line that their pretty accurate that is was made sometime after January 2005, so, the investigation is getting closer and closer. I can feel the squeeze.

Also, about the lie detectors test concerning Tuck, I think it's a good thing. Some have posted they aren't reliable, which we know that, at times they aren't. But sometimes they are.

The tool in using this though can cause people to talk just out of pure anxiety, fear and the jitters of just knowing they may get caught. So by Tuck taking this test, it could cause him to reveal more even before or during or after the actual test. These tests have gotten information out of suspects causing them to confess due to the nature of the process.

Alot of people come clean prior to actually being hooked up and tested. It does happen, so this is a plus and positive in my eyes. It can't hurt anything.

I think Tuck is now beginning to tell the truth because the heat is on from all angles, including his own friends and family. I only worry that he may really be truthful in that he could have come across the tape and really doesn't know the guy. But where he found it or came into possession of it is a big clue.

Guys your the best, keep up the good work. Websleuths has pushed this case forward, don't take our work and interest here lightly. It also appears this detective really likes and trusts Christine, kudos and hugs to Christine, she's built a repore with him, which is invaluable.

The difference between this and the sighting in Morroco is that that was the people's daughter. They had no reason to hide her. I'm sure if this guy still has this little girl she either doesn't get out of the house much or if she does he's there to make sure she doesn't say anything.

I know we've been given pics of the perv, but he might not be looking like that today. The tape could be up to two years old according to the latest news. He may have a full beard, no mustache, or maybe even sporting a total bald look. But even then I would have thought somebody who actually KNOWS the perv would have ID'd him by now.
Also, is it possible that this little girl could have already been rescued? I mean rescued before the tape ever came to light.

Does LE keep pictures of victims like they do the sexual offenders that they nab? I don't know. I always thought that if she had already been rescued they would have been able to match her up.

SewingDeb, I know it's a totally different situation but when I was a kid I had leukemia. When I had to have some of the painful chemo (spinal injections, bone marrow biopsies) that's exactly what I did. I could literally take all the pain away and see myself on the table. It wasn't me that it was happening to. It's a coping mechanism and a very difficult habit to break. This baby when she's found is going to needs years of therapy. The sooner she's found the better chance she has of having a good life.

I am new.....

Looking at her pupils and facial reactions, she does not appear drugged to me.

I am staring at these photo's and working this all alone up until I found that there are others (yourselves) also losiing sleep over this.

When I look in the one reflection I can see a square or more so rectangle outside, like someone else screen door. I think this is someones motel that they rent by the week or month.

Also, the knobs missing on the drawer, I think they were probably removed to keep little hands out of it. Something is in that drawer that he wants her to stay out of.

Also....I don't see one thing resembling a toy, if there was a mom in her life you would think you would see a sign in the room somewhere that there was a child there, there is not one.

I used to have my mattress and box spring on the floor, there is not a frame in this photo. The dust ruffle does fit the bed or ir would show white as the rectangle that goes between the mattress and boxspring is white and then the bed skirt is attached and hangs down on a normal bed with frame. I think the perp probably tucks the ruffle under usually, but its very hard to keep a bed skirt tucked, hence why its in clumps on the floor.

Has anyone figured out what the black thing is up on the floor by the head of the bed? Could be a camera case, but that would be for a hand camera.

Do we know why her pictures are so clear and his are so grainy? I got lost after late last night, read up until thread 3 and never got to finish, cannot find the remainder of it.....

You know, I just wanted to say this. Please hear me out. :)

In the last thread we were once again discussing reflections seen in the TV. People (including myself, even though I was involved in this discussion) felt that this didn't need to be discussed in depth any further, as it wouldn't aid in identifying neither the perv or Patience, and it was basically discussion child porn.
But then, it was also said that it wasn't 'dignified' to discuss the reflections we thought we were seeing. The thing is though, I never discussed it because I felt good about discussing it. In the beginning of this case we were trying to see if we could get any clues from the reflections, and that's what many did with the second TV picture, as well.
Then some of us saw things in there that shocked us. Now I don't know about y'all, but you guys are the only ones I am talking to this case about. So it wasn't like I could call someone and talk to them about it and hopefully have them tell me I was seeing it wrong; or to just talk and get it off my chest.
And the latter part is exactly why we ended up discussing what we thought we saw in it, because Lord knows we all hestitated to even say anything at first. I don't think anybody meant to discuss child porn, but we were hoping we weren't seeing what we thought we were seeing, and we were doing it in the only place available for that to us (here).

I did not feel offended or anything at all by anything anyone has said about it, but I still wanted to tell y'all my reasons for being in that part of the discussion. And I can't speak for others, but that's how they came across to me as well.

The police would probably be able to figure that out. I used to dub things from one videotape to another and I can tell the difference.

SewingDeb, I know it's a totally different situation but when I was a kid I had leukemia. When I had to have some of the painful chemo (spinal injections, bone marrow biopsies) that's exactly what I did. I could literally take all the pain away and see myself on the table. It wasn't me that it was happening to. It's a coping mechanism and a very difficult habit to break. This baby when she's found is going to needs years of therapy. The sooner she's found the better chance she has of having a good life.

With the last pressure, the only local station saying they were going to have it live on the net was CBS and they never showed it. So I quickly switched over to CNN.com and watched it. I missed the first few minutes. So don't count on the local stations to have it.

It's amazing the responce when a face can be put to the crime. No one can deny feeling compassion, being sickened, concerned and feeling a sense of urgency. There are new developments in the search for a missing girl whose sexual abuse was recorded on videotape.

Since the tape was turned in, police have sent out images and information on the case to law enforcement agencies across the nation in hopes to get a lead.

Today, the man who found the tape will be given a lie detector test.

Detectives in Nye County are working around the clock to narrow down thousands of tips from across the country. They hope one of those tips will lead them to the unidentified girl who was raped while a camera recorded the attack.

Detectives now believe the tape was made after January 2005. They have also identified an older girl who appeared in a separate part of that tape. They believe she was filmed through a window and was not sexually assaulted. Investigators say she is safe at home in Pahrump.

Police believe the person filming that older girl through the window is the same person sexually assaulting the younger girl. Police say they responded to the Pahrump home of that older girl back in 2005 after she told her parents someone was peeking at her through her window.

I think the reason we're so on this one is BECAUSE theres a video, they can find this guy, we're so used to hearing about cases like this where the child is dead, we get hit right off the bat with the horror and then discuss WHO could do something like this, in this case, she's out there ( god willing) and so is he and we know what they look like, they can find them, to me this could turn out to be a happier ending then most cases we hear about. If ever there was a time to use a truth serum, it is now. The sick man who had this tape IMO has to be forced to tell everything he knows.
Also, the person who contacted the police is to be applauded, someone stood up and did the right thing, none of us would know about this little girl if they had kept silent. We also have to remember there are countless other innocent ones out there being victimised and we as a society have to let the preditors know they can't get away with it.

Fox just did somthing on this. The detective said that at the press conference they plan on releasing the date of one or the other of the tapings. I know on Nancy Grace last night he did say they thought it was from Jan 2005 forward. They're looking into whether or not an age progression pic can or needs to be made. I think he also said more details on the perv will be released.

It had nothing to do with grouping...but if he was here in the states illegally, it would be easy to go back to whatever country he is/was from...and hey, if an american can slip into mexico and/or canada easily, why am I wrong to assume he wouldn't be able to slip back into his home country or another one just as easily?
