SANTA MONICA, Calif. With leads drying up, police asked for help Tuesday in finding a Santa Monica woman who left home on July 2 without taking any identification or money.

Santa Monica police Chief Timothy Jackman joined distraught family members of Alicia Serrano Medina to seek the public's assistance in locating the 52-year-old woman.

According to police, she has been sighted in the West Los Angeles area of Inglewood Avenue and Braddock Drive and may be in the company of a male friend who lives in the area.

Channel 9 reported that detectives had talked with the man and ruled him out as a suspect in her disappearance. Police also said foul play is not suspected.

Medina is 5-foot-1 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and eyes and a mole on the right side of her nose.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call Detectives Oscar Flores or John Henry at (310) 458-8478 or (310) 458-8978, respectively.
