Police look for missing woman and child
Independence Police are seeking information about Jennifer A. Herrera and 1-year-old, Zhaiy M. Teague, who have been missing since Tuesday.
Relatives told police officials that it is unusual that Herrera has not contacted her family. Herrera and her child were believed to be headed to a home at 9808 E. 22nd St., Independence.
According to other media. the woman and child was reportedly found late Friday. However, police detectives told The Examiner that was not the case.
Police detectives would like to speak with Herrera's boyfriend, Jammie Teague. Anyone with information regarding this case or the location of the listed individuals is asked to call the Independence Police Department's Investigative Division at 325-7330 or the TIPS Hotline, 474-TIPS.
